I hired Alex as my birth doula and postpartum doula. I knew as soon as we met that she was the person I wanted by my side, along with my husband. Her calming presence and practical know how helped me so much. I was able to have the natural birth I wanted and felt so supported.
We did a few postpartum visits where she helped me with whatever I needed. We talked about the birth, she held my daughter for me to nap, did a few loads of laundry, and heated up some soup a neighbor had brought by. She was also really helpful in teaching me and my husband early baby care.
