Annie was very friendly and the kids enjoyed her. She has an artists syle to her graphics and the characters were nicely painted. The color on some could be more vivid. I would hire her again. She may want to include in her post that the fastest way to communicate with her is via electronic mail on Thumbtack.

Farran is extremely collaborative. She shoots, edits, lights and is comfortable with creating graphics. She quickly grasps what is necessary for a project and sets about making it happen. In addition, she is not afraid of long days and early call times.

About

Hi, it's a cliché, I know, but I really care about the finished product. In other words, you wouldn't see anything wrong, but I know it's there so I'd rather fix it if time permits. To that end, whether I'm on an hourly rate or fixed, I'll be on my dime, sometimes to get everything right. I can be highly detailed, or am comfortable with stylized realism or cartoony in Illustration, or 3D art. All that being said. After all is said and done, if something turns out to not be what was wanted, included or needed, should I have to go back and alter things, short of redoing it entirely, you won't hear an argument from me or a complaint. Because after all, the commercial aspect of this means it's created for a purpose. The finished piece. seeing it come together. If whom ever I'm doing the work for happens to mention that it's exactly what they wanted, that feels good to.

While my primary expertise is character animation, I have also expanded my skills to other areas including 3D character rigging, modeling, and sound. I am a fast learner and a self starter.

About

I've been told by some that my fractalling work is vivid and crosses a range of design, aesthetics, and forms and - most importantly - and unlike other work out there - doesn't "look" like fractals. I'm aiming to give you something that "looks like nature" but doesn't look like anything specific. For that reason, over the three years my work has been up on Facebook and Twitter, the images themselves have been like Rorschach tests - where different people gleaning different meanings and representations from them. Fractalling - and experimental mathematics - is a unique way of producing images, and a process that more resembles science than art - start with a hypothesis; graph it; vet it; revise it. In fact, it more resembles Software QA and Engineering than art, although it's ultimately a creative process. I love my fractalling work, I'm putting in my 10000 hours (after my real job is over!), and if I could find a way to do it full time and actually monetize it, I'd be all over it! But I am just learning about the arts, and how one makes a living at it right now. I love that I also have a window into the arts profession myself; I've done work by hand in the remote past, but I find my digitial work much more satisfying.
