Introduction: I am meticulous about every edit I make. One frame difference in either direction can turn a good cut into a great cut. I love what I do and won't stop until the edit flows smoothly. The irony of my work is that the less you notice it the better it is deemed. Every decision I make is a creative one. Every cut, every re-cut, every edit. Inherently, editing is an artistic endeavor first and foremost, and a technical skill lastly.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I read the ASC journal for cinematographers, the ACE journal for editors, and I continue to edit practically everyday.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been a movie buff since I was a kid. I would walk to the local movie house and see the Saturday matinee every week. I was always fascinated how it was done. Seemingly magic.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Simply ask to see previous work.
