FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I take time during my consultations. I feel that I have learned how to read a person's body language, and ask the right questions about their daily habits and lifestyle to ensure that we are both on the same path for the desired result.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated at the top of my class from the Aveda Institute. Throughout my career I have continued my education with various companies such as Bumble and Bumble, Pravana, Redken, Paul Mitchell, and others. I feel that most of my training has come from being a professional in my field working for large companies like Microsoft and Disney, at locations like the YouTube Center in LA, as well as for the Houston Symphony and with professional models and celebrities.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always been adventurous with my hairstyles growing up. After a few trial and error career choices, I actually took my mother's advice and enrolled into cosmetology school. I've loved the industry ever since. While still attending school, I started working with various photographers in the Houston area, thus expanding my craft to make-up as well.
