Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. These days I work with people who want to use the tools I give them to make sustained ongoing change in their life. I no longer fix symptoms. I work with people of all ages, entrepreneurs, artists, people in leadership roles in various fields. The common denominator is a combination frustration at being stuck with a strong desire and belief that they can change.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. I do not usually do single issue interventions, "stop smoking' 'lose weight' 'anxiety' as these are most often symptoms of larger issues. While I am happy to help you with the those things, I would be delighted to speak to you (at no cost) to see if there might be a more holistic and systematic approach.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Neurolinguistics (NLP) and Hypnosis are something of an open secret. In the hands of a skilled NLP practitioner rapid permanent positive change occurs in a way that many first-timers consider nothing short of miraculous. Of course, it requires your own desire to change. and your own willingness to be accountable to yourself.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Can you help me move from where I am now and where I want to be?
Can you help me change all the ways I work against my own best interest and help me to live by the choices I WANT to make in my life?
Are you willing to invest your time in facilitating lasting positive change in my life?
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Do I truly want to change, or am I looking for ways to prove that I can't be helped? that I am lost cause? that I don't deserve to be happy? Am I willing to commit to the process of changing my live?
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I have more than twenty-five years experience in transforming people's lives.
I help people with fears, limiting beliefs, and addictive patterns and behaviors. I guarantee permanent positive results so that you can ...
Now Live on Purpose!
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I can think of nothing more satisfying than helping people transform their lives.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. "Does this really work?"
"Of course, because the power your creative imagination gives you for problem-solving, confidence, and well-being is limitless."
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. The woman who had chronic back pain for 5 years and had been told by various UCLA 'specialists' that she would live with chronic pain for the rest of her life, walked out of the first session pain free, and had had no more 2 years later when we met again.
The struggling single parent who was barely paying his rent, fearful of public speaking. Now he conducts trainings nationwide and is putting his son through college.
Anorexia+bulimia addressed in three sessions.
The client who had not flown in years who I bumped into at the airport a month after seeing her. We were on the same flight, and the topic of her old phobia of flying was scarcely mentioned, other than to remark is was a non issue. She had already flown several times since our first meeting.
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. This stuff works. It's fun. It moves you from being a victim of the circumstances you imagine are limiting you towards living 'at choice'. It gives you more options than you thought you had. It's about you being empowered to know that once you can make change, you can use that understanding to change anything.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. Huge curiosity about how people's minds work. I love the challenge of helping people change what they have been let to believe they can't change. The world is an entirely more interesting place when people are in charge of their own life .. to the extent that this work helps people to be in charge, I feel a huge satisfaction knowing that I am contributing.
Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.
A. I recently helped a client move out of a high pressure corporate environment to become a solo entrepreneur, marketer and educator. I am proud and took pleasure (in equal measure) watching her shift her understanding, clarify her values, learn to manage her time, and overcome old fears and habits. It was as if she reclaimed her life and grew into her power and beauty as a human being.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. Learning is my passion, so I continually read, attend seminars, co-facilitate workshops internationally with peers from whom I continually learn.
NLP is all about learning what works. I know of no field outside the hard sciences that changes and innivates so much. Learning what's new is essential.
Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.
A. I do not offer single sessions so do not have a per session rate. Pricing is determined after our initial (free) consultation.
Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
A. We train and certify people in NLP and Hypnosis. We hold trainings at our facility in rural Southern California (near Warner Springs).
