We were very happy with our experience and results with Washington Painting. We had them do interior work including ceiling, molding and walls throughout our entire home. They were extremely responsive throughout the estimate process, helping us understand the ins and outs of the painting process, and communicated with us throughout the work process so we knew status. When we had questions at the end of the job, they were extremely responsive and came back to touch up some areas for us. We will definitely use them again for upcoming work!

My home is old, about 38 years, and I finally had to have some siding and trim boards replaced due to age, water damage, etc. Darren arrived promptly and proceeded to walk my house with me taking a lot of pictures, I could tell he was paying close attention to detail, once we finished he told me he would email me the quote by the end of the day. I received three estimates from other painting companies, but none of them were as professional and outlined the details that Darren's did and he was the second lowest price (missed being the lowest by less than $200). I called Darren told him I wanted to go with him, he came back out we picked out colors and we set up a start date. His team, showed up right on time, introduced themselves to me, reviewed what they were going to do and what I could expect during the duration, I was pretty shocked at this level of service. Well, the job was completed ahead of schedule, and I love the way the colors came out. I will call these guys again in a heartbeat for any painting needs in the future. They were all extremely nice and you can tell that they take pride in their work. Thank you Darren and team for an excellent experience!

They were quick to see the project & give me an estimate. The workers were always on time, responsive to our needs, moved the heavy furniture off the deck & replaced it when the job was done. I will hire them again when I need to do some painting on my home.

Darren’s team worked wonders on the exterior of our home. There was a lot of sealing work involved before the painting even began but his team worked quickly and effectively. We could not be happier with the job and will hire Darren and team again.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For interior walls 8' tall x up to 12' wide I charge $ 60.00 a wall including premium paint caulking , spackle etc. For a 2nd coat I only charge another half. I charge $50.00 a door both sides including door casing with light prep. For a 2nd coat I only charge another half.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I start with discussing color & sheen they would like to use. I always provide my customers with free color brochures to give them potential choices. I discuss possible start dates of project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started in the union in San Francisco in 1985 & have been painting ever since (30+years).
