12th Fret Guitar Studios

Introduction: Since 2000, I have been providing students in Sonoma County classical guitar instruction for all ages and levels. My proprietary GuitarPlay curriculum specializes in teaching children ages 5-12. All my students attain a strong foundation in technique, reading music, theory and ear training, all in a low pressure, positive and fun environment. I am also the guitar professor at Sonoma State University where I direct the classical guitar program. I teach private lessons, guitar methods and direct the guitar ensemble. In addition, I have also taught music theory and ear training. I have a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Redlands and a Master of Music degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of music.
