I called Albert at the last minute to take pictures of my house for a real estate listing. He came the next morning! Albert was very easy to work with, and the pictures were ready in 1 day! He is professional and high-tech.
Clearlight Video & Photography captured the best of my wedding. Lawrence is professional, kind, outgoing, curious, thoughtful, and takes the initiative to get the perfect shot. He calmly and tactfully directed our guests into the frame to get all the compositions we asked for (and more). Lawrence has a natural ability to capture real emotion and personality from strangers, such that many of our best photos are his candids. Moreover, all of our guests complimented us on his professionalism, friendliness, and ability to get people in the shot to compose good images. Lawrence was easy to work with throughout the process. We negotiated a price easily, even though my situation was fairly unique. Lawrence also allowed me access to his RAW files, something many photographers refuse to do. When I was unable to transfer the files to my computer after the event, Lawrence made additional arrangements to ensure I received them. Lawrence even continued to work on some of my images after the event had completed and he had been paid in full, sending me his alterations gratis. In sum, I speak for all of my guests in saying we were incredibly impressed with Lawrence's work. Measured by quality, I can see the services of Clearlight Video & Photography easily costing in excess of $2,000, especially in the Bay Area. I consider Lawrence's photography services to be the best bargain of my wedding, and give him my highest recommendation.
I recently got acting headshots from Brian. It was great working with him! He was very friendly, and I felt comfortable enough to try out some awesome expressions/poses/etc. We would do a series of shots, then look at them on his laptop so that I could see what was working and what wasn't and adjust accordingly. With previous photographers, they would just do a bunch of shoots, then show me the photos online the next day. Brian found a great hair and makeup professional who made me look and feel beautiful! And finally, I appreciated that Brian was really flexible about timing, editing, background setup, etc. Thanks Brian!
Extremely professional. Did a great job and highly recommend Kuks. One of the best photographers I've ever dealt with.
Jeff shot beautiful interior and exterior photos for a real estate property we were marketing. He was extremely responsive and wanted to make sure we received the exact shots we needed. Also offered us a competitive price.
Diane provided commercial real estate photography for our company and was professional, prompt and gave us excellent quality photos. Would certainly hire again!
Eric and Claire were a delight to have as our photographers. Each time we spoke with Eric, he came prepared with ideas on locations. Before the actual day, he scouted out additional locations. We liked his work which is why we picked him. But, our wedding was on Saturday and we've already seen some samples, and we love, love what we've seen so far. Eric is professional, accommodating and his passion for his work is apparent. Even our guests enjoyed his presence at the wedding. We couldn't be happier with our experience of working with him.
If you’ve been waiting for “that one review” to really prove that Oaktown Boudoir is the way to go- don’t wait anymore! Cheshire Isaacs is a true exemplar of all that a professional boudoir photographer should strive to be. He is open and receptive to his client’s ideas without losing focus. He is honest and genuine without ever being insensitive. He is incredibly professional without ever being stuffy. The Bay Area is filled with Boudoir Photographers, so I guess the best way to write a proper review is to outline what exactly my own (popular) concerns were and how Cheshire proved triumphant! 1. Will I be comfortable? As a young woman, I was a little concerned about being erotically photographed by a man. Having been through a shoot, it’s obvious that Cheshire cares- from his personally designed music playlists (made in the interest of making the experience as comfortable as possible) to his handmade cheese and cracker platters. He continually went above and beyond for my session and I admire his passion, enthusiasm, and dedication. It shows in both his beautiful work and the long-lasting relationships he has with his clients. He spoke about his wife and daughter frequently, something that showed me his appreciation and respect for women, immediately putting me at ease. 2. Can his studio fit more than one “style” of photoshoot? Cheshire’s studio is open, bright, and filled with possibilities. He can transform the space to fit, I kid you not, any personality and style. In a matter of minutes (just enough time to refill a wine glass), his studio can go from a brightly lit angelic state to a dark, sexy, and sultry one. He mentioned having custom-designed the space alongside his wife, something that told me just how invested he was in the style and overall vibe of his studio. For my images in particular, I knew that I wanted little editing and wanted the images to be as “real” as possible. Somehow Cheshire still made it look like I was a model and knew exactly how to manipulate each pose to accentuate all the good and cleverly soften all the bad (without photoshop). 3. Will I get my money’s worth? Whichever amount of time you decide to book Cheshire for, know that not a minute will be wasted. He knows how to get down to business and not waste time while simultaneously not rushing through any poses. This guy was sweating as he climbed up and down ladders, moved heavy couches and bed sets, and adjusted lights. His hard work pays off in the beauty of his finished products! His experience in the field is obvious in the way he can quickly evaluate a pose and make small nuanced changes in position to get a desired look. I am but a poor college student and Cheshire’s prices were definitely better than most photographers around. He could easily charge three times as much for his services and would still be the deal of a lifetime. 4. Will my images be published? Cheshire was very thorough and attentive when listening to what I was comfortable with. He assured me that no images would be posted without explicit approval. In the end, his work was so beautiful that I would have been fine with it being printed on billboards and bus ads- really! 5. What about makeup? Cheshire notified me in one of our first correspondences that he had a partnership with a makeup artist, Thuy, who would be on-site for a small fee. Let me tell you- Thuy is more than simply a makeup artist- she really does it all. Not only did she do an absolutely spectacular job with my makeup, but she was the ultimate hype-woman!!! She stayed for nearly the entire session for touch-ups, glamour, and enthusiastic words of support. The experience wouldn’t have been the same without her. Every person that sees the finished images says, “Wow, I wish I’d done something like this.” Don’t be that person! Don’t wait another day, don’t look for another review, don’t google “Boudoir Photographer” again. Oaktown Boudoir is that good. Doing a boudoir shoot is obviously a large lump sum of money to dedicate to something that isn’t necessarily “necessary,” but my experience with Oaktown Boudoir is something that I will truly treasure for the rest of my life and always reflect on with a smile and a deep, deep appreciation for Cheshire Isaacs! He knows how to make a client feel like a friend, and that’s something you don’t come by often.
Chris was great to work with for my real estate photo shoot! Excellent pictures! He accommodated my special requests and made 2 trips due to bad weather because timing of the pics were critical for me. Would definitely recommend 👍🏽
Timothy is one of the best photographers I have worked with in my 30+ years in the business! He may not be the cheapest but he is worth his entire rate and more!! He is well with the investment!!!
It was a pleasure having Daniel Mirer as the photographer for my 50th birthday party last November, 2015. He was on time, and ready to go as my guests arrived. No one at the party found him intrusive, as has been the experience at times, with other professional photographers. Daniel has an easy-breezy personality. He engaged the guests the entire 4 hours, and made the experience "light." The shots from the event were not bad, to boot!
Mike did a great job capturing my proposal to my girlfriend. I wanted to propose during sunset in Carmel somewhere with view of the ocean, but wasn't too familiar with the area. Mike offered to scope out a couple spots and we decided on a very private area with a spectacular view. He was very easy to work with and extremely quick to respond to my emails. Since it was a surprise, Mike and his wife arrived early to stake out the spot and looked like any other couple at the beach taking photos. They captured every moment of my proposal and took a few shots afterwards (she said yes!). I got the pictures the next day and they turned out great! So happy with the experience, and would highly recommend Mike.
JP is awesome. He is punctual, and knows his craft. He’s not about the money, he’s about the art. JP takes his time to get you the best shot, he’s not in a hurry and makes sure everything is perfection. Hands down the best photographer I’ve ever worked with. Being in the real estate field, I’ve worked with ALOT.
Photographer Caroline Tudor has done an excellent job for me a Real Estate Broker taking pictures of 3 properties that listed in Berkeley and Oakland . She has been called on short notice and delivered sharp and stunning pictures of my clients houses. It is absolutely integral that the properties be presented in the best light, and she consistently does that. Her pictures helped me sell the houses. - Erich Harris, Realtor
I honestly can't remember how I found Danny, but I'm glad I did. He's an extremely talented real estate photographer and videographer! Booking is extremely easy and he delivers amazing photos in a reasonable amount of time. He's extremely accommodating and flexible. We'll continue to use him!
Rick went above and beyond to get the shots and sent them promptly and professionally. The photographs look great. We wil be using him again!
Ian was great! We hired him for real estate photography, and he was able to take very nice photos of the apartment. He was even kind enough to take photos of some surrounding neighborhood areas as well. He's very responsive, and he was able to turn around the photos for us same-day. I highly recommend him!
Super nice guy, very easy to connect with. I needed an event photographer last minute and he over delivered! Offered to provide live social media shots and managed to make our event look much more crowded than it was (we were very worried). He made a tech conference look fun and personable which as we all know is not easy...
Candace is the only photographer I work with now! We started shooting together when I was pregnant and i have been using her ever since. Everyone askes me who my photographer is. The pictures of my daughter and family are priceless. She is so good with my daughter and always has the mostinteresting ideas for photo shoots. She comes highly recommended from the Conte Family :).
Great work! Fabulous photos!
David's high resolution aerial photos of my residential real estate listing in Campbell accentuate the properties' best features and surrounding geography beautifully! The related amenities and business map he created puts it all in the right perspective, featuring the property's best asset -- location, location, location!
