When the Lowes "pro" showed up to install our range hood and ducting he was unable to do the job. I kicked myself for even booking installation via Loews, and came back to Thumbtack to find a new Pro who could actually do the job. When I reached out to Ivan, he asked a lot of questions about the job to make sure but he and I understood the scope of the work before hiring. Ivan and his partner installed our Cosmo range hood and ducting the very next day...they made sure the job was done correctly and to my specifications, going the extra mile to make sure we were happy with the result. Ivan was great. I only booked him to put up curtains. But I needed other things done around the house. He was happy to do them right away. He was very skilled and professional. He knew exactly how to hang a painting and had the right tools even though that wasn’t the original booking. He did it all without stopping, was very helpful and thoughtful, and cleaned up after himself. I really appreciate him taking the time to ensure that everything was centered and measured appropriately and checked with me to validate. I initially wanted my curtains at a certain height, but I saw how that looked and changed my mind immediately he was happy to change and reconfirm what I wanted. My curtains look so good, and he also put a new lightbulb in my garage light.
