FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most of my work is custom. I build many features and appliances into my cabinetry. So there really is no way to give a standard price. I try to work with my customers so that when all is said and done, at whatever level of finish, you feel like you have something of value. That is most important to me.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we talk. What would you like to do? And if you're not completely sure, then how can we work together to figure that out? Sometimes details are worked out as the job progresses. Certain parts determine the final size and shape of the job. If I can, I delay cutting those pieces, to give you as much flexibility as I can. I also know other trades as well. So as I build my pieces, I plan for the needs of other work that might need to be done. In the end, you get a seamless product where all the parts fit together nicely.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As far back as high school, I started building apartment buildings and single family homes from the ground up, in all kinds of weather. Now, almost 50 years later, I have narrowed down to doing finish cabinetry and tile work.
