Craig did a great electrical job for us. Our master bedroom electrical wiring was a bit of mess, he fixed the issue and made sure it's all safe . As a result of his great prof work we decided to give him contract for whole house replacement of switches , lights points n circuits as our 1989 year-build house that's been "tinkered" with over the years has also outdated CA code materials He came out, did a quick assessment, and was able to start quickly. He finished the work in time as promised, and more plus everything works great. Thank you Craig!
Mike came out on a Sunday repaired my whole house fan and left a back up belt! Absolutely fantastic. Will contract for lots of other jobs that I need to get done! Thank you!
Tom put in my ceiling fan this morning; he did an EXCELLENT job, and cleaned up after himself! He was on time, professional and I wouldn't hesitate to contact him for other jobs in the future.
Ivan come over and replaced my attic fan and did a wonderful job. very grateful. I have asked him for additional bids on other projects in my home. the other great thing is that he is affordable thank you
My experience with Yong the handyman was nothing but excellent!!! He went into my house and remodeled my whole bathroom. Now I have the bathroom of my dreams. He showed up on time, was very professional and the Best HE KNOWS HIS JOB!! He gave me a very reasonable price, with a great quality of work. THANK YOU YONG THE HANDYMAN!!
Mark was contacted for ceiling fans and outdoor light fixtures. All of the work Mark performed was very good. I know my house is an older home and there are many "quick Fix" issues done by previous owners. So to try and overcome the many obstacles, Mark did a super great job. Will call him again when more items need addressing.
Martin was pretty much the perfect contractor. He came over right away and gave me an estimate and then he came back when he said he would and quickly finish the job. I had him replace our master circuit breaker and if you other breakers that were broken. After that I had him come back and replace our attic fan. I highly recommend Martin for any electrical job.
Robert climbed through my attic to install my ceiling fan box and wiring. Job is not finished yet because I have not received the longer downrod. So far so good.
Victor is amazing - he persevered through the install my cute (although, on my part, it was a poor selection from a design perspective) ceiling fan. It replaced an 'outdated' ceiling light fixture and is now the best feature in my little condo!! Victor is focused and gets the job done!
The handyman I got from Thumbtack.com, Osbaldo, did excellent job. I am property owner, very picky, but he met my requirements: 1) on time show up and finish 2) quality and nice job. Experience. 3) reasonable price. Can charge by job. 4) can do small job like my ceiling hole. I like him fix my home again. I recommend h highly without hesitation for sure. David Chau. I hired Roy to install two ceiling fans in my home. He did an amazing job and it was obvious that he was very knowledgeable when it came to home repair and maintaince. I will definitely hire him again for all future home improvement jobs.
I reside in Vacaville and had Toure who normally works in Sacramento come to my home and install my old and heavy 46 Samsung LCD TV above my fireplace with the wires hidden behind it. First Toure and I agreed on a designated time that worked for both him and I. He was on time within the thirty minute window we agreed upon. He came ready. He didn't take any breaks in what became an usual install because of the way my house was built. The install took longer then expected but instead of rescheduling to finish it later or taking lots of breaks and resting from what I viewed as a stressful job he kept on! Impressive! The quality of work was great, I saw allot of measuring on his part to make sure that the TV was correctly centered above the fireplace and when I asked him questions about why he did this or why he did that he took the time and explained it to me. After the completion of the install he went above and beyond and vacuumed up the debris that he had made from the drilling and sawing around the fireplace as well as near the attic access. I would definitely recommend Toure Clayton. Brian
We are nearing the finish of this incredible project. Not only has Dan and his team come in to save the day with our master bathroom remodel they have also stepped in to help in many areas of our home to get between drywall, plumbing, electrical, and misc framing. Not only have they been incredibly respectful of our family and Home they make you feel like your working with family. Hard hard working, working efficiently and affectivly they have completed more work than I could have imagined and I found them by just looking for a bath specialist. I will be updating my review once complete with all sorts of pictures but I just have to let it be know how incredible Dan and his team is.
Put 2 tvs on the wall and a fire place ... Installation was very detailed Marcuse was a pleasure to work with would hire again !!
We had a mix of things to fix: plumbing, a towel rack, some grout work on a bathroom counter, caulking around a sink, etc. Everything was quick, clean, and professional. Will definitely use them in the future for handyman projects of all kinds.
Rick has completed several projects in my home, both inside and outside. These include structural repair and repairing/replacing drywall, trim replacement and finishing, ceiling fan installation, painting, installation of wood flooring, pulling coax cabling for internet, installing light in attic, adding an electrical outlet, replacing shower control, and replacing a broken drainage pipe outdoors. The quality of Rick’s work is excellent. His estimates are generally very accurate. Any deviation is explained, usually offering alternatives to the way the work can be completed possible. Rick will offer suggestions and sometimes indicate that doing a particular task is not really necessary or is too expensive for the return. His habits are very neat and pride in his work is evident. He is congenial, hard working, and a pleasure to have working in the home.
I would recommend Homestead Property Services to anyone needing any work done. Great customer service!! He was hale to answer and and all questions in a very quick manner. Very polite while doing the job and cleaned up after the job was complete! We had an exhaust fan put in our bathroom as it did not have one when we purchased it. I will more than likely hire Homestead for any upcoming jobs we have! I loved everything about hiring them. Great availabily, extremely knowledgeable and just generally awesome! A++++++++++
Mr. Johnson responded very quickly and professionally. He took care of the electrical repair in a very hot attic the same day we contacted him. We'll use him again without question.
Edwin was fantastic. He gave us a very reasonable quote for the installation of two attic fans. On the day of the installation, he was on time and finished the installation promptly and without any unexpected issues. We will be hiring him again for more projects at our home. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Bhupinder did an outstanding job assembling my dresser and cabinets from Ikea. I'd recommend him to anybody looking for work to be done.
Pedro, I wanted to let you know just how much I appreciated all you did for us. This has truly been a large project for us and to a certain extent I am not really sure we truly understood the magnitude. I was a bit shocked when we first talked about the rewiring of the entire house but after much thought we knew it was the right thing to do. I trusted your input and recognized that because you were familiar with the house you would quickly understand the needs. Over the course of the project we both appreciated your attention to detail and your taking the time to explain the process so that we understood what you were doing and what was to come. We knew there would be a need for holes in the wall but with your expert knowledge, patience and attention to detail you were able to minimize the holes in the wall. I appreciated how you cleaned up each day and provided us a daily schedule. You have truly eased our minds and helped us really understand the importance of moving from knob and tube to up to date safe electrical. We feel safer and more secure in our home and that means a great deal to our entire family. You have truly helped us move closer to completing our dream. Thank you so much and we both look forward to working with you on future projects. Leslie and Trevor
We needed someone who could do some work on lightf fixtures in a 24' ceiling. The project required putting up a scaffolding. Brad was prompt and completed our project very quickly. Will hire him again when we have another need for a handyman. He was polite and communicated well.
Kirk and his team performed an interior remodel and a new garage build for my house from January 2011 to July 2011. I am satisfied with Kirks work. He is very experienced in new constructions and remodels. He did a very good job for a very good price. Kirk also gave me lots of free extras at his expense. In March 2010 I purchased a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom house in Union City, California. The house was in good structural condition, but as a foreclosured unit, it needed some rehabilitation. The original detached garage was in poor condition; it was badly damaged by termites and water. My intent was to have the detached garage demolished and completely rebuilt from the ground up. I planned on doing interior renovation at a later time. I found Kirk from craigslist and he had a link to his Thumbtack page. I called him and he came by to give me an estimate. He said he could give me a really good deal on a new garage and do an interior remodel for a little more than what I would have paid for the garage alone. Kirk was really enthusiastic about doing my job, much more so than the other contractors I had come to give me a bid. Kirk also had very good ideas about modernizing the interior. He suggested a bar counter between my kitchen and dining area. He would also turn my empty utility rooms into a master bedroom and master bathroom. And he wanted to create a laundry machine closet. Kirk had an architect draw the construction plans; his architect did a really nice job. He submitted it to the city as part of the permit application process. I wanted the work done with all permits so everything would be by the book. It would also help should I decide to sell the house at a later date. Kirk started out on the interior work first. He demolished the old kitchen and utility room. He built a new kitchen, a master bedroom, a master bathroom, a laundry machine closet, and a small coat closet by the front door. Kirk said he could also do a couple more things to the interior. He would do the labor for cheap if I paid for the materials. So I agreed and Kirk also replaced my front door, front window, and sliding glass door. He also remodeled my fireplace and fixed a bunch of broken things in my original bathroom. Kirk also completely rewired the house. The original wiring was a dangerous mess, a potential fire hazard. The interior work was completed towards the end of April 2011 and all the work was approved by the city inspector. It looked really nice. I received many compliments from friends and family. I am fairly picky with details and I did notice a couple flaws with fit and finish. I pointed out them out to Kirk. He and his workers did fix them. The garage work started immediately afterwards. The old garage was not worth saving so it was demolished and hauled away. The original foundation was unusable. So Kirk jackhammered it out. Kirk poured a new heavy-duty foundation onto an extensive frame of rebar. He tied it into the house foundation. Then he framed the new oversized 510 square foot garage. Kirk added a storage attic with a pull-down ladder. Kirk also poured a new driveway that looked excellent. Kirk added a 50 amp subpanel to the garage. He also gave me a bunch of free extras like wall insulation. Kirk also used roof panels coated with an aluminum heat reflective substance. The garage was completed by the end of July 2011. It looked really nice. Like the interior, I also received compliments from friends and family. The above garage attic storage with the pull-down ladder was really useful. The garage also passed city inspection. There were also a few issues with fit and finish in the garage. Kirk fixed the problems that I pointed out. While the garage was being built, Kirk also repaired my patio awning and side perimeter fence. He did an excellent job on them. One lady even drove by, stopped, and complimented on how nice the outside looks. I am overall satisfied with Kirks work. He really transformed my house. Since everything was done with permits, I now have a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house on county and city records. If you want to see his work on my house, ask Kirk to give you my phone number.
We have had the pleasure of working with Robert on several occasions. When we first moved into our house in Moraga, he installed ceiling lights, recessed lights and dining room chandeliers in several rooms. Subsequently, he installed outside low-voltage lighting, did the electrical work for our kitchen remodel and upgraded our panel. Robert has always provided us with excellent service at a very reasonable price. He is professional, yet very personable. He offers great advice and is dependable and accessible. I look forward to working with him again when we have another electrical project.
I've been using him for a year or more for all kinds of issues (ceiling fan, whole house fan, lighted outlets, fencing, pool repairs, car issues, garage fan, shed roofing). He does great work, cleans up after his work, and checks to make sure everything is OK. I highly recommend him!
