FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is aimed towards lower-income individuals. I know it can be extremely difficult to cough up $60+ to M.A.C or other salons for just one day of your face being dolled up. I’m poor too! Although I will charge an adjustable fee if it is needed for me to pick up a specific product for your specific look. The fee depends on whether you want drugstore or high-end, and if this request is sent in last minute. I think that’s only fair.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1.) Getting to know them, so everyone is comfortable. This includes anything personal but most importantly allergies, skin type, skin over/under tones and makeup preferences. 2.) Showing them all the products that I will be using on them. Also showing them that all of my tools are super clean. 3.) Making sure that their face is washed and groomed a little before application.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve worked a lot in my school plays with costume and makeup checks.
