FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I require payment upfront, I do not start work until full payment has been received. These are my base prices. There maybe additional fees once I see your actual tax documents. For example, I charge $75 per brokerage account. You’re paying for my experience and the value I will provide you. I see things differently than tax professionals who’ve never worked for the IRS. Other professionals guess how the IRS may feel about certain things whereas I actually know how it will be perceived.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A phone call and a review of prior the prior year return are helpful. I will provide a quote up front and tell you what I can do for you or not. I’m transparent with you about your situation and the consequences if you’re not compliant.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I take continuing education courses to maintain my certificate to prepare taxes annually. I attend classes throughout the year and as changes are being made to the tax laws. I also us what I learned from the IRS to assist my tax resolution clients.
