Joel and his team were really great. They showed up when they were supposed to and worked long hours and on weekends to ensure we were able to finish the job by the deadline we set. I made a lot of changes to the project as we went along and Joel and his team were able to accommodate the changes, find creative solutions, and did it with a smile on their face. Joel seemed very knowledgeable about all facets of construction and was able to guide me in certain areas as we discussed pros and cons of certain tasks. Joel balances doing what the customers asks with the right amount of pushback when he thinks a task should be done a certain way. This is always valuable to any customer doing any type of construction. Joel also helped me out by picking up the finish materials and appliances from the store. In general, he made the project as easy for me as possible. On time, on budget, and meets deadline and his quality of work was very good. FYI, I added two new rooms on an existing structure, closed up walls, opened walls, added AC, moved a toilet, renovated a new bathroom, built a kitchen from scratch, added a skylight, etc. I think if you are doing anything from a small project or an extensive remodel, you should definitely consider Joel.

Choosing Chavez Construction makes me either smart or lucky or both. They did a great job on the full remodel of my 5/3 home! Joel’s core team hits the ground running and works hard all day long. Joel is very knowledgeable about all the different aspects of a house and building requirements. When different particular trades or specialties were required he has them onsite exactly when they are needed. Watching my house get remodeled was to see maximum continuous effort applied every day. When my house presented challenges or surprises he offered choices, we chose, and moved along immediately. The house looks great, and it could not have been a smother process.

I had several projects needing completed in order to sell our house. My wife's friend recommended Joel. He completed the work proficiently and was very detail oriented. He installed a new entry door, interior base board and casing, and also hardwood floor in the master bedroom. The house never looked better after he completed the work. Next time I need work done I will call Joel.
