We live in a Spanish-style home near the coast, and between the damp climate and a north-facing front that gets very little sun, our home’s exterior had really taken a beating over the years. The stucco walls were badly stained, algae had built up on our clay tile roof, and the stucco wall out front was looking pretty sad. Even our driveway, brick patio, and walkways needed attention.
Douglas from GandolFix did an amazing job with the whole project. What impressed us most was his problem-solving approach. Our stucco staining turned out to be especially challenging — much of it was actually caused by rain splashing off the clay roof tiles, so it wasn’t your typical surface dirt. When gentle pressure alone didn’t do the trick, Douglas didn’t give up. He kept working at it and figured out how to get the stains out. Our home looks like new again.
He also pressure washed our roof, driveway, brick patio, and walkways, and everything came out beautifully. Throughout the entire process, Douglas was great about communicating with us — keeping us informed on what he was doing, what was working, and how he planned to tackle the tougher spots. He was very professional and a genuine pleasure to work with. I will absolutely use GandolFix again when the time comes!

I recently hired GandolFix to clean the moss off of my concrete tile roof. I had noticed it on the edges of some of them. I had no idea how much there was. Douglas responded to my request immediately and set up an appointment for the next day. He did a very thorough job of soft power washing. Then cleared the gutters and downspouts of the debris and treated the roof with the preventive spray. He gave me pictures of before and after for my records. He cleaned everything up and charged a very fair price I highly recommend GandolFix.

My pricing is competitive and clear — no surprise fees. I offer package discounts when booking multiple services together. Every estimate includes materials, labor, and cleanup.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I ask for a brief description of the job or a few photos. Then, I provide a free estimate and let the customer know if any site visit is needed. Once approved, I schedule the job and show up on time, with all the tools and protection needed. I walk the client through the final result and only finish when they’re 100% happy.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained on the job by experienced professionals in a local company. I’ve worked on hundreds of homes throughout the Bay Area and learned how to adapt to different surfaces, materials, and safety challenges. My focus is not just on cleaning, but on preserving property value.
