My Lenovo S30 Thinkstation has two internal drives and after 3 years my 2TB d: drive quickly began to fail. When I ran the Windows backup I discovered I also had problems with my main c: drive. Armen was available to come to my house almost immediately and began working on the problem. Armen is extremely professional and competent and a very nice low-key person. Unfortunately for me and for Armen, my Lenovo machine did not come with backup discs or even the Windows OS CDROM. All backups were on the hard drives. Including the Lenovo Recovery program which was located in a partition on the c: drive ... which obviously did not help the situation. In addition, my machine was ordered with high-end specifications and was filled with proprietary Lenovo drivers. Drivers that I did not have and were not available to be re-installed. On top of all that, my computer is filled with big media files. My Music alone is a 248GB file. This made any attempts at backing up the c: drive exhausting as it took 7-9 hours. (I did have all my media files backed up independently on external drives.) Armen worked hard and diligently, spending a lot of time in front of my machine waiting for things to happen -- which they did extremely slowly. The good news was Armen did not charge for all those hours. At least it seemed that way to me. He was at my house for hours at a time and his bill did not reflect all that time. Meaning ... he is extremely fair about his pricing and his billing. Buying the new hard drives and installing them was straightforward. But unfortunately for both me and Armen, getting my machine back and running was a long arduous task. First, acquiring all the Lenovo proprietary drivers was a pain and all the normal, typical restore processes did not work (ghosting, etc). Armen was temporarily stymied several times by the nature of my computer problems and the overly complex nature of how my computer was built. But he always had several alternative approaches to the problems and in the end managed to wrangle my beast of a machine and get it back into excellent working condition. Now, with a 1TB SSD c: drive and a brand new 2TB d: drive, my Lenovo is running better than ever. The vast majority of people out there experiencing computer problems have far simpler issues to deal with and it was clear to me that in more typical situations, Armen is very knowledgeable and skilled computer tech that can get your machine back on track without any fuss. I just happened to be the customer that had the whale of a computer problem. I highly recommend Armen's services.

I decided to change my hard drive in my 27" iMac. It's 6 years old and I wanted to improve the speed. It was taking quite a while to boot up. I had seen on YouTube that by changing the hard drive to a solid state drive this might give me the boost I needed. I went ahead and bought a Samsung 1TB SSD and the bracket for the drive to fit in, your going from a 3 1/2" drive to a 2 1/2" drive. I also picked up a temp sensor. I then made the decision after seening the YouTube videos that it was probably best to have someone with the proper tools and that had done the work before. I became aware of the site, Thumbtack, and thought I would try it. I left a post that I needed someone to do the work on my iMac and a got a number of replies. I went with Armen because he had good reviews and he was fairly close. He did the work in about a day and a half, his prices were fair and besides doing the hard drive he also did a ghosting of my old hard drive so that the Mac looked exactly as it did before. The work was done professionally and I couldn't be happier. And by the way, changing the hard drive to an SSD is the best thing I ever did to my iMac. I highly recommend Armen, his work was outstanding, he came to pick up the unit and delivered it back. I would not think twice about using him again, job well done.

Onsite service ranges from $60 and hour. More complex and network related work will be at a slightly higher rate but is fair.
