I have moved multiple times in LA, and Green Island Movers were by far my best experience! They worked with our last-minute timeline, gave us an accurate quote, and were incredibly responsive/informative throughout the process. We had a ton of fragile items that they wrapped and handled with great care, as well as a super heavy bed. Between the two of them, they moved furniture—extremely efficiently—that had taken us 4+ people in the past. Chris and Mike were in great spirits and made a grueling process as exciting as it should be—and even shared a ton of great recommendations in the area. I can’t thank them enough for how stress-free this move was (we even had a stop at a storage unit)! I will hire them for every move in the future and highly recommend their services.

I contracted with Green Island movers after another moving company (G6,) failed to show or call as promised. Green islands movers were very reasonable, did a professional job and did not attempt to take advantage of my urgent need for a mover.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Green Island Movers rates start at $100 an hour 2 guys 5 hour minimum for any job. If the house is 2-3 bedrooms we recommend 3 guys which is $140 an hour, and if the job requires more work we charge $200 for 4 guys 3 hour minimum with a $50 holding deposit for your appointment which goes towards the whole cost.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have a book online system where you can put all your information and answer any questions regarding you move on this site. Ass soon as we get your information we will give you a call to set up an appointment for an estimate then basically move on from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
2 years of moving experience with multiple moving companies who have motivated me to start my own family owned business. As new as we are we have great workers on hand that are ready to make your move as easy as possible during a stressful time.
