The most imporatant things to look for when hiring a professional are to make sure the contractor is Licensed with the CSLB. That is easy to check, just go to the CLSB website and enter the companies name or license number. You want to make sure they are fully insured with General Liability insurance, carry a bond, and have workers comp insurance. You also want to make sure they provide you with references of their work. The number one must important thing to remember when hiring a professionals is to NEVER GIVE ANY MONEY UPFRONT.
