FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
- My rates start at $75 for an overnight stay in your home. If you have multiple pets the cost of each dog is $50 and cat is $25. Price also depends on their needs; medication administration, not house trained, and frequent long distance walks may be an additional charge. An overnight stay is a FULL day and night starting at 12 noon and finishing at 12 noon the next day; that's 24 hours! Each additional hour is $10 babysitting fee. Sorry, but I do not board animals at my home.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to speak to the potential client on the phone. Then I will email you some information about me including my resume, reference letter, picture, and information about the services that I offer. The next step is to set up a free one hour meet and greet at your home at a time that works for both of us this way we can see if this relationship is a good fit. If possible I like the client to complete an information questionnaire about their pets needs so that the meet and greet can really be about bonding. At the meet and greet we discuss all the details including daily schedule, feeding procedure, medications, supplements, treats, exercise, walks, play, toys, personalities, etc. To reserve the dates for the stay, half of the total is due as a deposit. The remaining balance is paid via check and is left at the clients home for pick up during my stay. I leave your home as clean if not cleaner than when I arrived, and your pets are safely awaiting your return.
