Individualized to how student learns. I use humor too ! Hello. My name is Jamie but the kids call me Ms. B. I have a BA in music and have been teaching in the area for over 22 years, teaching piano (on a baby grand), flute, guitar, and cello. I teach all ages and all levels - beginner to advanced. Lessons are half an hour each week. Students usually start with 2-3 books, including theory, and are later encouraged to bring music of their choice. There is a waiting room on the backside of my home, where you can view your child. Siblings are welcome to do homework, read, play games etc. Normally lessons are $112 for 4 weeks, but when there are multiple students, I reduce that rate to $100 per child. Any child under the age of the 5, I further reduce to $80. We have recitals every year, where the student performs two pieces. The first lesson is always free and I can provide referrals upon request.
