Yesterday, I had another handyman company come to my house to fix a sliding screen door. I will not mention their name, because it such an embarrassment compared to Rock's. From the bad company comes a guy who arrives at 8am complaining that he took 2 hours to get here. He didn't come to WORK. He came with a camera to take pictures. He DID say that he could fix it, but that it was a custom screen door with custom wheels. He says he has to order them and it will take 2 weeks. He said he will not do the repairs unless I gave him $300 for a deposit. Today, Chris comes by and checks with Home Depot and finds the parts are available. Then he says to let him look at a bag of parts and finds the one he needs. My house yesterday was 93 degrees when I called Chris that evening. I couldn't stand it anymore. My house doesn't have central air conditioning. After Chris fixed the screen this afternoon, the house cooled down to a tolerable 82 degrees with a nice breeze. I know my sliding screen door makes the house cool. Other windows were open and didn't help. God Bless Chris. HE couldn't believe it. I must say the BAD company should be ashamed of themselves for the way they treated a 71 year old Senior Citizen! Chris respect us and wanted me to be okay. He's got a heart of GOLD. He has INTEGRITY and is HONEST!!! And finally, this will make his phone ring off the hook! He charged me HALF the price of the other company!!!

Chris came in right on time and what was a simple plumbing hookup job turned in to a much more complex one with electrical rewiring. So it took a lot longer but that is to be expected and he did a great job and getting it all done the right way. Fixed a couple other small things for me super fast too. Good thing I didn't try and do this myself!
