He was on time, and knew what he was doing. Changed garbage disposal and changed light sensor on garage. He will be replacing moulding around door and new kitchen faucet. He performed the work quickly and left the area clean. I thought I had a problem with the light sensor that evening and he came right over. As it turned out it wasnt the sensor at all and he was very gracious about having to come out. I will continue to use him.
All work was high quality; did everything from installing a shower, plumbing for stacking washer/dryer; toilet installation; installing new windows/doors; refinishing doors; painting; electrical repairs; installation of window air conditioners; floor tile installation, and more.
I do believe since moving to Palm Desert 2 1/2 years ago this is the first time I have had a worker (handyman) arrive at the time he said he would be here. Both my husband and myself are Handicapped so you can imagine what a mess our garage was. This company went over and beyond what I originally had asked for. They helped us get better organized. I put away things where they belong (the last handyman we had shoved everything where he could. So when Mr. ARDILA’s coworker Came to me with brand new items in the plastic bags you pay 1.00, I was surprised. We are going to use him for our next project as well (my closet).”The Handyman” gets a thumbs up from us. Great job ! Respectfully, John and Anita Burris
He installed a video door bell and was very professional, he even tried to activate it on line
I was very pleased with the work that was done, replacing sliding door rollers. The door slides very well now. Thank you Gus.
I ended up letting my insurance cover water heater replacement but had him come out to fix a couple of doors and install a security light. He was fast and reasonable- keeping his number in my phone for future work.
Edwin adjusted some closet doors, cleaned up some cabinets, sealed windows & changed the garbage disposal. He did a great job, new what he was doing, and was priced reasonably. I was able to count on him.
The Glass Guy restored my sliding glass door and the door screen. I was very impressed with the communication, service and reasonable pricing. I will be recommending The Glass Guy to all of my friends and family in the Coachella Valley!
Brandon installed 5 new interior doors + new molding throughout my 1250 sq ft. house. He was knowledgeable, thorough, and easy to work with. Responded to my initial inquiry promptly and came the next day to talk through the project in detail. I am happy with how everything turned out: especially with the door installation, he was very detail-oriented and made sure everything lined up just right. He even helped adjust a few other doors in my house that weren't closing quite right. I'm really picky about those kinds of details, so I really appreciated his attention to detail and willingness to really make sure everything was just right! I'd definitely recommend him.
My husband Earl had a stroke, so I needed David to install a safety frame on the toilet. I also purchased a Tempurpedic bed but the company would only remove the mattress and not the headboard, bedframe, nor footboard--David removed the items for me. David was to come and wash my windows but my husband once again was taken to the hospital,so that particular job has been temporarily postponed. I can't speak highly enough of David, and I will always call him for all jobs which need to be done around the house--and I can think of a few things which must be done, e.g., window washing, installing a shower door, and a: gas chair lift installed in my Hooker computer desk chair; knowing David, he can probably lay tile in my kitchen, when I get around to it--you will never go wrong if you hire David, to do your handyman jobs for you, and he will never over charge--one person on this WEBSITE wanted $150 to remove my bedframe, David, charge $65, and I find David to be incredibly courteous.
I recently purchased a 1950’s cabin in the high desert - lots of work, mostly cosmetic. Andrew removed 2 ancient air conditioners, installed a swamp cooler, patched holes in dry wall, adjusted screen and side doors, set exposed [stove] gas pipe into wall, installed backer board for tiled backsplash at sink…. the list goes on! My new project list grows as I type this review. I had a multitude of questions and Andrew was a wealth of knowledge and advice. As a new homeowner, I am very grateful for his suggestions and guidance. Andrew is dedicated, reliable, and goes above and beyond every time. He is extremely hard working, very respectful of client’s budget, and maximizes every minute. He has great energy and a wonderful attitude on the job. He treats every project as if he was working on his own home and I have complete confidence in his work. If you are looking for a high-desert handyman – Joshua Tree, Pioneer town, Landers, Yucca Valley, 29 Palms, etc. – then I highly recommend Andrew.
We had a rather complex kitchen cabinet replacement job that required keeping the face, drawer, door, slider shelf, and tiled countertop. Everything else was destroyed from water damage. Johnny was prompt in his contact to our Thumbtack query, had excellent follow-up, and follow-through. He determined what could be salvaged, and acquired the materials. When he removed the cabinet, we discovered additional water damage to the wall, arranged for repair and coordinated completion. His workmanship was excellent and his communication and professionalism was outstanding. I would highly recommend Johnny for any project you would need, especially if it requires attention to detail -- and as long as your project doesn't interfere with Johnny doing our next project in our new home!!!
Sal installed a prehung entry door at our Mission Hills condo. He came on time and completed the job efficiently and with minute attention to detail. “A Perfectly Installed Door”!
Matt at Slide Rite was great! He was honest about the amount of work it would take to replace my shower doors, gave a doable timeline of how long it would take, was punctual and professional while completing it, and all for a very competative price point. Sometimes you meet people and you get the feeling they’re padding the process to make a buck- Not so with Slide Rite! I would definitely hire them again! My shower is devine and I’m so happy I made the decision to go with Slide Rite!
Ken is great. I used him back in October to remove an old fiberglass tub and install a new cast iron. He replaced the shower handle and even raised the showerhead for me. New tile walls and installed new shower doors.
Got broken door frame & drywall repaired; looks like nothing ever happened. Just waiting for another coat of touch up paint to be applied.
TED IS VERY PROFESSIONAL..ATTENTION TO DETAILS AND COMMUNICATES. HE HAS A QUALITY PRODUCT AND GOOD INSTALLERS..I recommend Ted I NEVER GOT STRESSED.RATHER GREAT EXPERIENCE..SOLD MY HOME AFTER INSTALLATION AND BUYERS LOVED IT
Eddie was very responsive with his quote - I liked that he quotes for the whole job, rather than per hour. This makes way more sense to me, so I can budget for this. Work quality is excellent - he said he can do the jobs, which he provided efficiently, without difficultly, and was punctual and got it all done within two hours, even going to Home Depot to get some hardware needed to install our new security door, and buy replacement shingles that were blown off from our garage, which he perfectly matched. Eddie is an awesome Handyman, and I highly recommended him!
you did good work today installing my new garage door and your prize was really reasonable thank you again for the help
