I saw Dan’s reviews in the past but held off on my lawn project until I was ready. The images of his work on thumbtack really caught my attention, I just didn’t get the opportunity until recently. I appreciate how easy it was to work with him. I had my ideas in mind and he came out a few days later for the estimate. He was very upfront and told me the pricing right away. He booked the next available date he had and actually moved me up a few days due to a cancellation. I appreciated his professionalism, respectful manner and that he kept me informed the whole time. I do not write a lot of reviews but I needed to write this one. It was a big project that involved demolishing the entire backyard and then grading the soil, installing drainage, hardscape, pergola, planter beds, plants/trees, lights etc. From the day we first met to the day the project ended, Dan and his crew were very punctual, professional and responsive. Dan gave his best and the final result spoke for itself. Dan and his crew started on the project earlier than I expected and they finished well within the time quoted. It was a custom design which my wife and I prepared and Dan executed it amazingly by paying attention to all the details. He also suggested a few minor changes to improve the look and the outcome was pretty good. I've met many contractors in my life and I say with all my heart that Dan is the best so far. We also became friends along the way and now I miss him since the project's done :D
