We are a couple who decided it was time to get healthy. We searched for a trainer who would fit us well, someone who listens and is supportive but knows what they are doing. We were lucky and found that in Aaron. We have been training with him for 3 months now.
My husband has lost 22 lbs, couldn't do a squat, literally his form was pretty bad. Now he squats correctly and can lift his own body weight (235 lbs). I have lost 8 lbs and feel much stronger than when we started. Through Aaron's workouts we have strengthened our bodies and have increased our flexibility. He doesn't just tell us what to do, he takes his time and shows us the correct way and explains why. Needless to say we highly recommend him.

My job can be very stressful & I had allowed myself to get really out of shape, I decided I wanted to find a personal trainer who would not only motivate me but push me- get inside my head. I researched several trainers and narrowed them to Aron The Renaissance Man and Self-Made Fitness Chino Hills then called and spoke to each. By far Aron was the most professional, realistic, and down-to-earth man. Aron does not blow the “smoke” many trainers do, he also is the only trainer (and he is my 2nd…in my lifetime) who explains the proper form and his method behind powerlifting. Never checking his watch during training and make sure I get the best workout, even if going over time. I would absolutely be so stressed from work and the pandemic that I would be miserable, but thanks to Coach Aron, I can leave that at work! If you are thinking of going to a trainer, I cannot recommend Aron enough, he is worth every penny and more! Do yourself a favor and call Aron today!

I had my first session yesterday and I was very impressed with Aaron. He knew what he was talking about and was able to answer all of my questions and concerns. Part way through our session he stopped what we where doing to focus on what I really need at moment, which was to work on my mobility and technique. It is incredible what just a few years of inactivity and desk work can do to ones mobility. At the en of the session and after talking about my daily habits he gave me a meal plan and a number of stretching exercises to improve my mobility. I can't wait to see how much i progress in the following sessions.

I had the pleasure of meeting Aaron early March 2015. From the very start Aaron's health knowledge and care shows. He took the time to listen to my issues and concerns.We met 3 times a week and after every session he made sure that through his coaching I was more motivated to reach my goals. Aaron has tons of equipment all for the purpose of challenging you and keep you motivated through seeing results. Every workout was a different variation of exercises, and he never hesitated to explain what a particular exercise was targeting. I have never been in sports, and I am now a mom of two (a 4yo and a 2yo); therefore, I doubted my fitness capabilities to say the least. For example, I started off by struggling to hold a proper 15 second plank on our first meeting, and during my time with Aaron I reached two minute planks. On my first day with Aaron I was on the verge of crying because I felt so weak and frustrated with myself, and instead of becoming fustrated himself Aaron always encouraged me and assured me I will become better. In the next few weeks we found ourselves laughing at that weak minded person I was in the beginning. Also, main thing with Aaron is SAFETY he will be besides you ensuring your posture at all times. Overall my training with Aaron has changed my body, look, strength, but most importantly my self-esteem. If you are considering him for your personal fitness goals please don't second guess yourself, you won't regret it! My before and after pics are on the site ;)

My time with Aaron was short but I learned a lot. He really took me in with literally no knowledge about lifting and was extremely affordable for me. He taught me a lot about weight lifting and how to push myself to levels I thought I could never reach. he worked with my schedule and was really easy to talk about my weaknesses and my strengths and never held anything back which I admired and appreciated. Would I book him again? Yes!!! I would
He's a good guy and really has a passion to help others and he's a good friend.
