We had a great experience with Excel Construction. Our home in Hyde Park, LA had an old and unsafe structure in the backyard that needed to be torn down and replaced with an 8 foot concrete wall. Excel's team was responsive to request for quotes and questions and very quickly acquired the permits on our behalf, removed the structure, cleaned up debris, built the wall, and painted it. We're thankful for the experience!

Finding a professional and reliable contractor to build an enclosed patio seemed like a daunting task. I was dreading the process because of the difficulty that friends and family had with other contractors. I’m definitely glad I found these guys. Sebastian effectively communicated our options based on our needs and was able to start construction quickly. From the inspection process to the construction process, everything went smoothly, and communication was excellent. Bonus - everything was completed super quickly - ahead of schedule! Great work all around. I definitely recommend.

Wow, love my new bathroom. I first met with Sebastian. We went over the project and plans were made. But after demolition, Sebastian made the recommendation to knock down a wall and replace it with glass. Turned out to be a game changer.
As for the work, with the exception of hot mop and glass installation, Audel worked on my bathroom, from beginning to end and what a beautiful job he did. He was knowledgeable and a true professional.

These guys installed a new furnace in our house after it died last week. They were extremely fast in ordering, coordinating install and installing the new unit. They even waited for the first hour of operation after install in case of anything going wonky. The guys on site were professional and courteous. I recommend for any AC or heating issue that might arise!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do not have a standard price system as each house may be in a different condition than others. I have advertised in the past a few services that may be standard such as roof replacement for $8500, but of course, that applies to roofs up to 1800 sq.ft and with one layer, etc. We always like to assess the scope of the work before we provide a quote.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We provide new home construction services, remodels, room additions, kitchen, and bathroom renovations. We have built our reputation on one founding principal. Provide our clients with the highest caliber of construction and customer service. Our commitment to superior quality, workmanship, and innovative solutions is key to the success of each project. We provide the personal care you’re looking for when remodeling your home.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have physically worked with my father in law which has been in the business for many years. About five years, I moved to work with a couple of home improvement companies as a sales representative, and eventually, I opened my new business.
