FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As each client has a unique set of desires and challenges in the spaces they inhabit, I work with my clients to asses and identify their specific design goals and create a vision to achieve it. Whether it is offering guidance on furnishing choices, finding the perfect accent piece or offering space plans that suit my client’s lifestyle, I enjoy and work regularly with different project scales, budgets and timelines.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I found my love for design and interiors at an early age. Beginning with visits to my mother’s family home on the coast of England —with its eclectic collection of heirlooms and objects brought back from afar—I developed an instinct for the way well-designed spaces can inspire all aspects of a person’s daily life, as well as reflect their personal heritage. Growing up in the idyllic bohemian enclave of Ojai, California, my design sense was shaped by the understated sophistication of village life and led to her appreciation of interior spaces that are confident, unfussy and reflect a collection of life experiences. Continued travels abroad gave me a love for the rare and exquisite and the story objects can tell and allowed her to garner access to some of the world’s best textiles and design pieces.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have the pleasure of having worked with a variety of clients, from Montecito to Pacific Palisades, including celebrity clientele, I help clients express their tastes and unique stories through the spaces they inhabit.
