John and Dust Away Maids have provided excellent customer service. I ended up not moving forward because it turned out that the house we are renting had already been cleaned. I will definitely be considering using Dust Away Maids in the future though. Thanks for the great customer service.

They were quick, thorough and easy to direct around the house. Also considerate to ask about specifics, and suggested I do a walk through before they leave to see if they missed anything I wanted cleaned. Very happy! Will schedule them again in a few weeks.

No Complaints (!) They arrived on time, very pleasant crew. I told them what to prioritize based on time available, and they had no problem following that plan. I did a walk through at the end (it was the first time they came to my house) and noticed a couple of details that they attended to quickly and without complaint. I would feel comfortable leaving them with a key to my house if I was away the next time they came. The floor cleaner they used was not my favorite but I'm sure they would use whatever I prefered or my own. The price compared to other providers in my area was more reasonable. I wish I could afford it weekly. (!)I would have them every week. : ) Very easy to work with and nice people.

Two cleaners came, on time, with full supplies. They did a quick tour of the house to understand the layout, challenges, and our specific concerns or desires. They were friendly and asked relevant questions. They finished on time per the estimate and the overall work quality was very good. Before they left, we had a discussion about how to fit in special requests for the future (like, deeper cleaning for one specific room and trade off of lighter cleaning in another).

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The initial cleaning is typically charged at an hourly rate. After the initial cleaning we can negotiate a flat fee to recurring service, based on the size of your home and the frequency of service.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We contact the customer via thumbtack or phone and try to arrange price, date and type of cleaning. In most cases our fist cleaning is a deep cleaning and takes longer than an outgoing service.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Dust Away Maid was founded by Dalia in Ventura, CA. After a long successful journey with D&H, Dalia decided to go on her own. In 2011 Dust Away Maid serviced their first customer. Dalia has over 25 years of cleaning experience and has expanded her services throughout southern California and the state of Nevada. Dalia is still actively cleaning, so you might get lucky and have her clean your home.
