I had an amazing experience hiring Chef Tim for my partner's birthday dinner! He truly went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable throughout the process from finding him on Thumbtack, to creating the menu, to executing the meal, and cleaning up everything at the end! I was hesitant at first since I had never hired a private chef or used Thumbtack, but I'm glad I took the chance! Chef Tim was extremely responsive and easy to reach over Thumbtack, text, and calling. He was punctual on the day of the dinner, and came prepared with everything he would need to execute the three course meal. He even printed a menu! We had a squash risotto, tomahawk steak with broccolini, potatoes, a mushroom chimichurri and port wine sauce, and for dessert strawberry shortcake. He was also very respectful of our kitchen and very friendly to talk to throughout the night. I highly recommend his services!!

So grateful to have found Tim on this app. Yesterday I threw a surprise party for my husband’s 30th birthday, and Tim cooked for us amazing dishes! Everyone absolutely loved the food. It was perfectly seasoned, and well portioned. (I can’t believe I didn’t get one photo of it! It all looked, smelled, and tasted delicious!) Considering this was my first time hosting a party with a private chef, Tim’s services were indeed a treat! He also took care of everything beyond the preparations with organizing and clean up. Not only did he make this a special occasion for my husband but for our whole family.

Each meal and event is completely different, after our first consultation we will be able to provide you a quote based on the level of service and style of meal you would like.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The start of the process is understanding what or who the meal is for, likes, and wants then creating a custom menu based around that and what is in season.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Classically French trained with a degree from Le Cordon Bleu and have been in the industry for over 25 years.
