It has been the best experience possible for me. I have grown and learned valuable insights. I am LUCKY to have such a great therapist!!!!!!
Nina Rubin is a great life coach for people who want practical advice and are uncomfortable with the idea of conventional therapy or coaching. She has training in Gestalt and marriage and family therapy, so what she teaches comes from a credible knowledge base, and she makes an effort to check in and make sure her clients are getting what they want from the experience. Coaching is typically from her home or other location (like a beach) she feels is appropriate for the client, and sessions are typically an hour long, though there is some flexibility, again, depending on the client. Her strongest traits are her compassion and the fact that Nina is a "buddy" type. That is to say, while typically people are apprehensive about opening up to a professional coach or therapist, Nina is such a down-to-earth person, speaking with her and getting advice feels as though you are just chatting with a close friend. As a younger person, she is ideal for people in the 20's and 30's age group, though her advice is applicable across the board. Most importantly, because Nina comes from a therapeutic background, she has connections that allow her to refer clients out if she feels that their issues require more than she can provide, and she is extremely ethical and compassionate, so will indeed refer if needed. My only criticism of Nina is that because she is younger, she does not always pick up quickly on one's issue, but as long as the client is willing to be candid and give her as much information as possible, she is open to being directed to where the client wants to go. Again, I strongly recommend her for younger people and those who are uncomfortable with the idea of life coaching or traditional therapy. Prices are reasonable, and the sessions are worth it.
Harry is a gifted coach and was especially helpful to me in my discovery of where I was stuck and then getting me beyond that impasse to a place of flow. He did so by supporting me in connecting to where I was blocking my energy and holding fear, and where in my mind I had limiting stories and scripts that were keeping me in a cycle of frustration, panic, and immobility. No one has ever brought so much to light for me as Harry has, and I have sought out a lot of therapists and coaches in the past. He truly has geniuses in his work. ~Greg Sinicrope, Santa Barbara
Curtis is both an amazing therapist and coach. We have worked in and out of both modalities over our two years together - the flexibility of his skill set being able to dip into both areas of expertise as my life has called for each has been wonderful. I am also a certified coach, and am continuously impressed with his approach and partnership. The results of our work together have been nothing short of life altering. I would recommend him to anyone.
Kim is such a wonderful kind and caring therapist she took her time to get to know me and ask questions about me so that I may get the full benefit of the therapy. She wrote a program that was tailored to me and what I wanted to accomplish. I came in and out of hypnosis 2x. She is so positive and it was easy to talk to her. Will be going back to her. If you have a problem I recommend you see her you will see a difference in your first session.
Tom Sorg truly has healing hands. I have had bodywork done by a number of therapists over the years, but I knew after 1 session with Tom he is passionate, knowledgeable and excellent at what he does. After developing a pain in the arch of my foot, I sought help from a podiatrist. My instructions were rest, drugs, ice, self-massage, orthotics, physical therapy, (stretching, ultra-sound, electric stimulation) then finally cortisone shots. After months of these treatments and no success, it was Tom who finally was able to free me from the pain. My only regret is that I didn’t see him sooner. That is only 1 example. He now works on the rest of my family and we have referred him to many friends as well. He will listen and with his awareness of the body, promote healing from within. Cindy K
Shira is simply the best!
Choosing to get help for the difficult parts of our lives, that we bury deep down is scary and vulnerable. But Jaimi is someone that you can show that part of yourself to, who doesn't judge and can help you work through those things that hold you back. She allows you the space to say anything, no matter how awful you may think it is and gives you constructive ways to get through it.
When I searched for sex therapist via online, I ran across Stephanie's picture. The orange hair just popped out at me. I knew intuitively that she would be a great fit for my partner and I. And, after reading her bio, it was more reason to contact her. Stephanie is very warm, compassionate, a good listener, and very intuitive; something I was looking for in a therapist. I definitely did not want a traditional westernized therapist, and Stephanie was everything, but that. She thinks outside of the box. She was really in tune with the energy in the room, and between us. She was gracious in giving my partner and I different loving and connection exercises to reconnect with one another before any sexual activity took place. We always looked forward to our sessions with Stephanie, because she became our comfort zone in speaking our truths rather it hurt or not . Another thing that I loved was that the first couple of sessions really helped my partner and I delve into the deep rooted issues before getting into any sexual contact. I have to say that after those two sessions my partner and I were experiencing the love that had been there all along. I can go on and on about Stephanie, but I'll do here. Stephanie can assist you in where you need and want to be individually, and as a unit.
As a colleague who has known Jeremy for many years, I regularly refer clients to him as he is trustworthy and has been a positive presence for both clients and therapists alike. Jeremy is a gentle, calming presence that thoughtfully helps his clients understand themselves more, grow, and heal. I wholeheartedly recommend him.
Deb is a great massage therapist. She helped me tremendously with my lower back pain and sciatica. I was barely able to walk before I saw her. After few sessions I started walking and worked on my core to strengthen it. Thanks for your help Deb!

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in private practice for over 15 years. I provide psychotherapy to individuals and couples. My areas of specialization are relationship issues, depression, anxiety, and parenting challenges. My office is located in a serene canyon setting.
I am a licensed marriage, family, and child therapist with a special connection with children, adolescents, and parents. When someone in the family has a problem, the entire household has the problem. As a former middle school teacher and a parent, I understand the love and effort demanded of parents and their great importance in their children's lives. Parenting isn't as easy as we are led to believe. Problems arise and have to be dealt with. No child comes with a manual that truly works. No one ever tells you about loving unconditionally and endlessly and running short of patience and energy. I will assist your children and you to bring understanding and harmony into your home.
I am passionate about healthy marriages and thriving relationships, so I most enjoy working with dating, engaged, and married couples. I teach each couple how to assertively ask for what they want and need, how to communicate effectively by allowing their partner to feel safe, and how to resolve conflict in a constructive way that respects, rather than wounds, one another. If you are facing challenging circumstances in your relationship, I believe these can be an opportunity to strengthen your connection with your partner and draw you closer together, instead of driving you apart. For dating and engaged couples, I am a certified facilitator for the prepare/enrich program and recommend couples considering marriage to complete this valuable instrument. We use your data to identify strengths and growth areas, as well as explore opinions about core issues in marriage to find agreement and negotiate differences. I offer day, evening, and weekend sessions, as well as a free phone consultation to briefly discuss your situation and answer any questions you have as you evaluate options for counseling.
I have been in the private practice of psychotherapy and counseling for over 38 years. My specialties include depression, grief, loss, crisis intervention and marriage/couple counseling. I have a psychodynamic frame of reference, and see individuals, couples, families and groups for both emotional support and deeper exploration of unconscious feelings and behaviors that interfere with relationships. I am warm, friendly and easy to talk to for most people, and I work well with people from many backgrounds.
As a licensed family and marriage therapist, Robert C. Jameson concentrates on assisting clients in understanding and overcoming issues, like limiting beliefs, boundaries, relationships, love, anxiety, depression, hurt and anger, to name a few. During his years of private practice, Mr. Jameson discovered it is beneficial to provide many of his clients "homework" in the form of handouts, to aid their work while in session. The Keys to Joy-Filled Living was created from his handouts of tested and proven exercises and methods.
