- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I get to know you as a couple, and find out what you want and need. This can be done in person, over the phone or email - whatever works best for you and your schedule. I also make sure you have all your legal requirements set up. Then I work with you to figure out your ceremony - it should be tailor made for you, as a couple!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely! I am a member of Toastmasters International, an organization that is dedicated to giving people the skills they need to thrive in the areas of professional speaking, communication, listening and leadership. In addition, I keep my eye out for new law changes, and other classes and workshops relevant to officiating and weddings in general.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I felt called to be a wedding officiant. After officiating for a friends wedding, I knew in my heart it was what I was meant to do.
