About
There are two things in life that I knew that I wanted to do since I was a young girl. The first was to pursue a life of music, where I could play the instruments that I love, the Violin and Piano. The second was to share that love of music with others through teaching. Just like how my teachers helped me, I want to be a part of helping other students find their own love for music.
My time in Taiwan, Germany, and the United States showed me how across different cultures, teachers approach sharing that message. I believe that my diverse background studying music in several different continents, countries, and cultures will bring a unique perspective to music that would benefit students.
Whether it's violin, viola or piano, I hope to help people find their own joy in music!

Finding the right teacher has been a godsend! My son, Harlow was ready to quit until he met Miss Iris. She’s is so exceptionally talented and patient. The tips and encouragement she gives has put him on the right track. He’s having his first recital next week and is excited to show his talent.

My 6yr old son has been learning piano with Iris for almost a year and the process has been great. Iris has been very engaging and responsive to address my son’s question and know how to communicate with him. My son is able to understand Iris’s instructions and able to work on his homework by himself. I highly recommend Iris!

My 2 grandchildren ages 9 and 6 love Iris as their piano teacher. They have been taking lessons for 5 months and my 9 year old grandson has performed in San Diego for a piano progression program as Iris suggested. I highly recommend Iris with 5 stars! She is very responsive and flexible with our busy schedule. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Iris is a great teacher, she is very patient with my little girl(5yrs). My girl started lessons with no experience, but Iris used many good ways to let her know the basic knowledge. My girl love to learn and play piano with Iris, so we would highly recommend.

I feel very fortunate to have found Iris as my piano teacher. I am an adult student and l have been studying classical piano with her for more than a year. She helps me set solid foundations (finger techniques, sight reading and some music theory) in my piano journey. Her teaching is personalized to my music preferences (she gives me enough agency to pick pieces that I love that suit my level) and life circumstances (she gives me just the right amount of assignments every week). She sets me up for challenges that are just a little beyond my comfort level so I can progress without feeling frustrated. Her love for music touches and inspires me, every time I have a lesson with her. I highly recommend her as a teacher for adults interested in playing the piano.
