We love Michael Domingo! He photographed both our engagement shoot and wedding. Before meeting him we had liked his work on his profile. Upon meeting him, we knew we were headed in the right direction. Once he shot our engagement shoot. We knew with absolute certainty that we had made the right choice. His willingness to try new things, lend a helping hand, and more importantly easy going personality made both the engagement and wedding shoot stress-free and easy. Everyone from our 11 year old son to our vendors loved him. We have officially adopted him as a family member…that’s how comfortable he made us.

It was such a pleasure working with you!! You were outstanding, and the pictures came out beautifully. You were wonderful from start to finish, professional, honest, and friendly. It felt great even though I hate taking photos, you definitely made us feel comfortable. Thank you for the memories, and capturing moments we didn't even realize!! :)

About this pro

My work stands on it's own. What stands out is that I'm highly capable and flexible to the clients' needs. I don't consider my work "my work" -- I work to the client's satisfaction and many artists won't do that. I love waking up and knowing my job includes meeting people and making some incredible images that are worth sharing. It's not a job, it's a life style.

    Q & A

    • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I keep up with what other photographers are doing via blogs, Web sites, print and online magazines and whatnot. I'm also a former trade association member, so I get the free magazines for pro-level photographers, which are good resources for what is being used to create images these days. I can easily see that technology is changing and we're already at the point where consumer cameras and apps make the images very professional-looking. Still, you can't replace the idea that someone is responsible for capturing everything and then delivering it to you. It's what we get paid for.
    • How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been shooting since I was 12 years old, so it was only natural that I do this for a part-time endeavor (really, I'm a technology journalist by day...).
    • What types of customers have you worked with?
Shoot, shoot and shoot some more. I don't quit until you tell me you're tired of me in your face.
