FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

each project and customer is unique. every project carries its own set of requirements and nuances, to perform, to bring full satisfaction to each of our customers. our pricing is based on what we may find durring a consultation. there are usually a set of baseline prices. however, there are usually addition conditions that arise during our visit that adjustments in our pricing are required. thats why, as a standard, we request that we come visit the potential job site to descuss the project in person. only then, can we price appropriately based on what we find and based on the needs of each individual.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

In my experience with contractors and builders, I have noticed that most of the time they have gotten so big that they don't have that attention to detail that they might have had in the past, Too many times i have had to "keep an eye on them" to keep them on task and to do the job as it was requested. In my opinion, that is a lot for a customer/client to have to do to hire someone at such a steep price. perhaps I'm just particular that way. But shouldn't everyone? I decided that, with my experience, a picky customer should have a picky repair specialist working for them. Not just someone whose favorite line is "that's good enough" and then have to pay the overpriced bill at the end. Well that's when i decided that I could do the same job, and better, in most cases, at a price that wouldn't make the customer broke.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently filled in as skilled labor for a home improvement show pilot called Home for Good. Tasks included furniture moving, demolition, fan installations, new light fixture installations, light fixture replacements, cabinet repair, debris removal, construction site clean up, HVA assistance, furniture assembly, and home decorating. This was a 4 day project as it was being filmed
