We wanted new granite counter tops for our kitchen and a island built. We wanted our island to match our existing kitchen cabinets color as well. Germain came out the same day I reached out to him to measure and gave us an estimate, turn around time, and was very informative, professional, and very reasonable. Throughout the process, he was always in contact with us, giving us updates, and keeping us informed of how the work was coming along on my island. The island we had made has 2 trash can pull out on one side, and a cookware organizer that was customized to fit in the middle cabinet, and another cabinet for storage, he later informed us we had room to add 4 more drawers up top, which we accepted to have done. It came out great, the color of the island was identical to our existing cabinets. We were very impressed. His guys he had doing the granite work were also very professional, punctual, and did a beautiful job on the counter tops. I would definitely be using Germain again for our future projects as he's a licensed general contractor. It was a nice, stress free, experience to upgrade our kitchen working with Germain at Greenview Construction.

Rain leak on roof. Germain has done the great job. He has checked not only leaking on the flashing around the vent but also turn-up all roof titles and found some of titles out of alignment and he realigned the titles. He also resealed flashing of chimney area with no extra charge. He is a very honest and has skills and knowledge about the job that he has done.

These guys really went beyond what I expected from them. They actually were done ahead of schedule yet we're flexible with my schedule. While on the job they were very courteous and had many recommendations on where to shop for the right materials and how to get it for the best price. When finishing the job, they hauled away all my old materials and we discussed what would be next in line for my next project. Highly recommended!

Germaine and his crew did an excellent job on my project. They installed a subpanel on my detached garage that required a 100 foot trench. They ran into some problems that took them a little longer than originally planned, but he communicated clearly and finished the project with great quality. I will definitely hire Germaine and his team again for future projects.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project and task is unique and so I tailor my pricing to the job at hand. From there I generate an itemized pricing schedule. A detailed spread sheet that includes descriptions of the listed activities along with cost(s) per activity.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After I introduce my self I inquire about the desired work. I then develop a scope of work after taking measurements and conversing about the activities. I price. And present the plan and pricing. If there is an agreement we put together a payment schedule that is related to the work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Engineering degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in Construction Engineering. After graduating college I worked as a project engineer and then project manager. For 12 yeas I managed industrial construction such as roads, bridges, water treatment facilities, waste water facilities, commercial buildings, one pump station and one power plant. All new work from the ground up. Very challenging and exciting work.
All the relocating got to me and I decided to do my own thing back in 2011. I now focus on local projects allowing more family time.
