Personal Training
Drew has been the best personal trainer I have had so far! I am struggling with running and he has taken it upon himself to figure out how I can be best at it. We have made such great strides in 2 weeks- I feel great changes the way I carry myself in just 4-5 sessions!

Drew is awesome! Although we’ll miss him here in SD we are excited for his new adventure. My daughter and I did private strength training program 2x/week with Drew geared towards running and triathlon. We were very happy with our program and always appreciated his flexibility when life got crazy.

I loved working with Drew over the past few months! He is so knowledgeable about all things fitness, and I can say I have definitely learned so much working with him. He always listened to what my goals and concerns were and helped me achieve them. He's also just a really down to earth guy and really fun to be around! I would absolutely recommend him to anyone interested in stepping up your fitness game or is just interested in starting your fitness journey.

I was nervous about seeking a personal trainer but after working with Drew, I would recommend him to anyone! He makes sure that you are supported and shapes the training to your needs. He is knowledgeable about all of the physiological aspects of training and explains the reasons why each exercise is beneficial, which I really appreciated.

Drew was very professional in our training sessions, answered all my form/ workout questions and demonstrated the exercises as well which was good to have different types of feedback. Drew is knowledgable about workouts and alignment in exercises and I learned a lot from him!

FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First, I like to chat with the student and get to know each other. I want to get an understanding of their skill levels, abilities, any injuries, illnesses, limitations, pain, etc. I also want to hear their goals and what they would like to achieve as well as when we would be able to achieve that goal. I think it's important to have an intention whether it would be gaining more flexibility, strength, balance or to become more mindful, grounded, calm or to relieve stress.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I graduated with a degree of Exercise Physiology and Psychology giving me an understanding of the mechanisms of the body and mind. I have over 300 hours within a Physical Therapy setting shadowing therapists and aiding patients. I went through my 200 hr training under Ganga White, "The Pioneer of Western Yoga". I also have a Yin Yoga Certification with Kelli Martin and Kristi Kuttner.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I first began practicing yoga to help my body recover and become more resilient as I played football in High School. I continued to do yoga after high school as I learned more about yogic philosophy and spirituality. Learning about yoga helped me find a fuller version of myself and create a deeper understand of who I am. I began teaching at the recreational center at my college and fell in love with teaching and connecting with students as they grow.
