As a Music educator there is given much attention to the needs of the student. Lessons are crafted to the individual music goals of the student while providing a solid foundation of theory and the essentials needed to continue on a long term basis. I worked for Steinway & Sons and other west coast piano retailers for many years and if necessary, can advise students on purchasing a quality instrument for lessons and study. No matter what level you are at in your learning process, I can help enrich your musical experience. My oldest student is 86 and my youngest is 5 years old. There are definitive studies linking music and the brain. showing that music lessons enhance the cognitive and learning skills of the student while helping with eye hand coordination. Most importantly I like to inspire my students to have fun!!
