It's also very affordable. My before and after recordings are on Professor Alex's website if you want to hear the difference. What I liked most about InPronunci is how structured it is, and it turned out to be the most effective app I tried, because I was actually able to change. I think that's because it's structured so professionally! You start with the sounds and then work your way up through phonetic exercises and speaking drills, all the way to public speaking. The Pronunci Instructions sound just like Professor Alex, so it feels like he's guiding you even when you practice alone. Compared with BoldVoice, hand gestures or pictures, the 2D Simulators were by far the most effective way for me to practice American sound articulation. With them, I could finally make the sounds the American way. In our 1-on-1 sessions, Professor Alex went through everything with me and fixed what I'd missed while practicing on my own. After each session, I knew exactly what to focus on, and that gave me the confidence to keep practicing the right way. Sometimes one session a month wasn't enough, so I booked extra ones here and there. It's been two years since I finished, and I actually speak even better now. My brain just got used to American English, which is exactly what Professor Alex said would happen. If you're thinking about it, trust him.
