- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have a friend that has her own dog walking/training business in a different part of the Denver Metro area who has inspired me to pursue this. I was given the opportunity to change my carrier and was able to start school to eventually become a licensed dog trainer. In the mean time I am able to start getting to know families with dogs that need help due to their busy lives.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Since your dog is such a major part of your life and you will more than likely allow this person to enter your house, trust your feelings and instincts. Make sure you are truly comfortable with your choice.
