Introduction: PoshPups CO (Originally PoshPups JC) served the Jersey City/NYC for 4 years but recently moved to Colorado! PoshPups CO is a Pet Boarding company that focuses on the well-being and fitness of your pup. Our goal is to leave your pup not only tired but completely loved. We take great pride in what we do! Dog care giving is absolutely an enjoyable experience but we find it important to pay attention to behavioral changes, any physical issues and to keep them safe, away from any level of harm. This pet sitting company doesn’t really want to sit with your pet or personalize your needs. I was told in the meet and greet they check in on your pet while they check in on 3 or 4 other dogs and homes per day. For 85$ a day I would expect more personal care for my pet. If they charge 85$ a day for 4-5 pet families a day I consider that unacceptable for the care of my pet as I see that as money is their objective. I expect more for my investment. I would not recommend this pet service. They declined my request for their pet service because I requested personal attention to my pet’s needs. If I could give them zero stars, I would.

Hey Marilyn! Maisie was a great dog and our sitter loved meeting you two. Money is not our top concern but personalized care is something that we pride ourselves in providing. We have clients that are already booked for the remainder of the year and have to tend to them. If we had 3 or 4 pets to walk or visit during your sitting that’s just 4 hours away from your pup and our sitter would be there for the remaining 20. We are not capable of accommodating round the clock care. The price point for that level of service would be astronomical and would not be fair for any of our pet sitting clients. You also mentioned that your pup needed to be let out at 2am. I have to consider if my sitter will be getting adequate rest as well. We would have loved to help as Maisie seemed like a lovely little pup. We declined your request to allow you the opportunity to find a company that could meet your expectations. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Boarding is available for $52 calendar per day. -Additional Pet is +$40 Daycare is available for $48per day Pet Sitting available for $85 a night Additional Fees are added for: -Holiday Pet Sitting and Boarding. No daycare for Holidays. -Extended Pet Sitting and Boarding (Exceeding 5 days) -Multiple Pets for both Pet Sitting and Dog Walking - Daycare Pick-up and Drop-off
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We try to make it as easy as possible so you have less to worry about! We start with a Meet and Greet where we discuss the kind of service you're interested in and introduce to your pup. If you are looking for regular daycare on a weekly basis we will set you up with a Monthly Daycare package! We use GPS tracking powered by Time to Pet (TTP). On TTP you can not only view your pup’s walk summary but also contact us directly and make payments. If you work from home and need help infrequently or happen to travel frequently we accept al a carte daycare requests 48hrs in advance. Pet Sitting is available by request only. We have a very convenient form on our site. Additional fees are applied to holiday and extended stays.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I always loved animals! We adopted a Yorkshire Terrier when I was young and instantly fell in love. When I was young I worked for a professional dog walking company and also helped friends/family with their pooches. When I moved to The Northeast my main focus was my restaurant management career but my heart found its way in the paws of my furry friends! It’s the best choice I’ve ever made.
