Pete came out promptly after I called to give us a bid on tearing down our old fence & erecting a new one. I found it acceptable. We agreed to a start date in 3 weeks. I was told the job would take 2-3 days. However the first day Pete & his partner were to start was plagued by heavy rain. So they didn't get started until the next day which was a Saturday. They took down the old fence & set new posts in cement, but then left the large pile of wood debris on our lawn for at least 4 days because they had another job in Boulder to complete. The day they had promised to return, they could not. I called them the next day to find out when they were coming back. They returned that afternoon later than Pete said they would. But once they actually got started on the fence, it went pretty quickly. And Pete fashioned a very nice gate for the front and did a great job on a half gate in front of the garage door. But the job was not completed then. Pete still had to come back to fit caps on the posts, but he didn't have glue for them. Also cedar cross beams for the middle of the fence were not available for a few days, so we waited for Pete to get those, too. Finally, after about 10 days we have a beautiful new fence & 2 lovely gates. We are very pleased with the results, but a little disappointed with the delays. I would have also liked them to have stacked the wood debris off the lawn until they could haul it away. But the grass recovered. Also, he never returned as he said to glue the caps on the fence. Another job awaited them, I'm sure. So we glued the caps on ourselves. So---we liked the work they did, but felt that communication & promises made could have been better kept.
