Forest and his team did a great job of installing our kitchen lighting and backsplash. We asked them to come back to tile a kitchen wall. Both jobs were done professionally and in a timely manner.---C. Anderson
Diego did a great job with a tough project. He had to work over wall paper in some areas and in tight spaces on others. There was a little delay which was partially caused by both parties but in the end it all worked out. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves given that this was a very messy project. Now its time to prime and paint, but I'll be doing this myself.
I contracted with Jesus to do a level 5 finish on an existing wall---the most difficult of finishes. He was very fastidious, worked quickly, and did an exceptional job. I will definitely use him in the future.
Very professional and was very acomadating on sound since we work from home. When the work was complete it was as if the repair wasn't needed. He matched the old dry wall completely and fixed what I messed up! I will ask him to do more work should the need arise.
Chris was very responsive, great communication, on time, could not have been more friendly, and most importantnly, did a great job. Price was very fair as well. I would absolutely reccomend him and his company to do your dry wall work. Use them over the big guys to save money and have a better experience!
James did a wonderful job! He was hired to paint my master bedroom and do a touch up on my family room wall. He was on time, got the work done quickly and there were no problems. I would definitely hires James again for another job.
Excelllent worker I would recommend him to anyone who needs dry wall work
I reached out to Andrew Scott Builders for a major repair to our house. Ian and Andy were able to come up with a solution to save us thousands on the repair. Ian was very dedicated, always available and was able to juggle multiple tasks at the same time. I would recommend these guys for any contracting work.
Leroy came in to repair extensive wall damage we had as a result of removing a wall between our kitchen and dining room, as well as to patch multiple holes in the walls that were made when the electric was updated. He showed up early, was professional and friendly, and was a real pleasure to be around over this 2-day job. Our plaster and lathe walls pose challenges, and a contractor brought in by our GC said we'd have to drywall over everything as opposed to fixing the plaster. Leroy assured us this was unnecessary and proceeded to do a fantastic patch job that supposedly 'couldn't be done' because of the degree of damage to the walls, and he did it at a much lower cost than other options we'd considered. He took it upon himself to do an extensive repair to some drywall in the ceiling, where someone had done a poor job drywalling over the plaster, even though it wasn't in the original scope of the project. He finished on time and (as another reviewer mentioned) did a great job cleaning up - he hosed off our front porch and welcome mats before leaving. I would hire Leroy for other projects in a heartbeat (in fact I plan to), and strongly recommend him to others.
I only hope I can convey the full measure of unreserved enthusiasm and profound gratitude I feel for having discovered so utterly remarkable an individual as I was privileged to find in the person of Brett Breneisen, the most extraordinary contractor I have ever met. Possessing a range of skills virtually any one of which would stand as amazing, Brett quite literally restored our home to us and saved it from almost certain disaster in the future. Our home had experienced foundation damage that occurred as the result of excessive rain having forced the movement of tons of soil, causing a wall in the (finished) basement to lean in substantially from the top. The damage done by the shifting of the wall was considerable: a large air duct was torn from the ceiling and left hanging askew; the doorway to the furnace room was crushed (the sliding doors no longer doors at all, but reduced to ill-fitting, scarcely usable partitions); the sheetrock composing the ceiling had cracked and buckled. A wall in the hallway had buckled as well, and a portion of it protruded outward, possibly indicating that a structural support beam was being shoved right through the wall. None of the doors in the basement would close anymore; indeed, one, frame and all, had been shifted several inches to one side, leaving a gaping opening. The ceiling in one of the rooms was torn; the room gave the appearance, for all intents and purposes, of a lid being torn off a box. Walls were cracked, and splintered, sheetrock shattered here and there; overall, it was a disaster. The house looked as if it were quite literally about to come down. All that is now in the past. Upon having had the house piered to bedrock and thus arresting the movement of the foundation, we were able to address the sorry sight that our basement had become. Thatâs when I called Brett. Right from the start, he put my mind to ease. He conducted a thorough examination and determined that there was no structural damage. He then set about determining each area of damage and, upon his providing a wonderfully reasonable estimate, secured our go-ahead for the project. Brett started immediately. He addressed each and every concern, turning eye-sore problem areas into show-house perfection. It is virtually impossible now to believe that such damage was ever present. In Brett I observed the most capable and expert contractor, quite frankly, I had ever seen. Nothing was beyond his skill and ability, no area of restoration too large or too complex. He amazed us. Brettâs concise and thorough approach may well have resulted in actually saving our home and, quite possibly, our very lives and those of our beloved pets. The pressing in of the wall had put significant tension on electrical wiring conveying power to ceiling lights. The wiring, Brett found, had been installed incorrectly; rather than having been run through a support, as it should have been, it had instead been wrapped around it. Pressure had broken and exposed the wire, situating what would have been live current in direct contact with dry wood. Upon further investigation, Brett found several additional wiring mistakes, ones that, in addition to the previous, would have almost certainly proved disastrous had I sought to have the lights reactivated, as I very nearly did. In lieu of Brett's discovery of the wiring errors---errors no one lese would likely have found---disaster would have followed. (Some years ago, having become suspicious as the result of anomalous electrical behaviour, I had the power to the lines disconnected. We have of course since then been without any real light in the basement, but that was better than the prospect of what could result.) Brettâs expertise removed all danger and restored the lighting. Additionally, this remarkably talented manâs abilities have resulting in the advent of a beautiful, straight wall, a sharp and clean-looking, perfectly placed heating duct where once there was but a broken and sagging eye-sore, and brand new LED lights that provide twice the light at a fraction of the cost. I have never seen so great and varied a skillset contained within the person of a single individual. He never rushed or in any wise imparted to me the feeling that he just wanted to have done and move on. He never once called and said he couldnât make it over today. He saw each and every aspect of the project through, from start to finish, and the result---I do not say this lightly---is flawless. He explained each step of what he did and always offered me options. He was at all times genuinely concerned with my satisfaction, and instantly rose to any challenge regarding anything additional I might propose. He was always personable and friendly, a genuine delight to have in our home. He was at all times profoundly considerate of our pets, ever careful and cautious regarding them and their safety, and earned our complete trust with them, which is no easy feat. The work he did is flawless, beautiful and complete. Having begun with a disaster, he left us with a wonderfully fully-finished and beautifully-painted basement, having single-handedly transformed our home from eyesore to showplace. So long as he is in business, there is quite simply no one else I shall ever call. He has earned our sincerest admiration and respect.
excellent work on light installation and dry wall repair.
Robert and his assistant did great work and were able to take care of our repairs ASAP to enable us to get our house listed for sale. They also left the work site clean, and helped us patch a few small holes in other walls in our house as a bonus.
This was a good experience from start to finish. Mike looked over the old bathroom and provided a written estimate to gut and redo the whole room. We set a start date and on the day we chose they began. Since my house is over 35 years old we expected surprises, so when we found issues with my floor we revised the estimate - the changes were UNDER $1000 and only took one day more. Drywall took the longest to complete, but re-tiling the walls and floors went smoothly! The best surprise was having the glass block shower wall installed - it was done in less than a day and looked fantastic! The entire job took a week and a half and I am thrilled with the end product. - The new shower cartridge had issues so they came back and made it right. They worked clean and picked up all the debris. Am I satisfied? You bet!
Ron was very professional. He tried hard to match a difficult wall texture for me and even took some extra time to show me how to install a compression shut off valve. Would highly recommend and would rehire for other projects.
I had a 10' x 8' wall finished and two ceiling patches. Joshua went out of his way to get it done and it looks great.
Our job was the faux finishing of the walls of a large room (19x19). Carol was very prompt about responding to the job posting, and we quickly set up a meeting. We were able to review a large number of samples of her work, as we originally had no idea of exactly what type of finish we wanted, or even what was available. Seeing the variety of Carol's samples made this evaluation much easier. Once we decided to use Carol for the job, we were able to choose from three cost levels, of increasing complexity, due to the work involved. We decided on something in the middle, and Carol set a firm starting date. It took several days, but Carol was always prompt, checking with us throughout the process (some minor changes were done without a hitch). She left the job site immaculate, and the whole effect she created is beautiful and highly satisfactory. We would not hesitate to use Carol again, and would feel entirely comfortable giving her any referrals. Thanks again!
Did a good job for a really good price! Got some drywall compound on a few spots on my carpet, but other than that he was quick, on time, kind, and did a good job.
Delon did a very good job completing the dry wall and finish of my basement him and his workers were very prompt and paid attention to detail to complete my basement in a timely and beautiful manner. Will definitely use him again in the future thank you again Delon!
Daniel was prompt and covered my floors and walls. They were done in exact amount of time he had estimated. The wall and ceiling areas look like there was never any hole or damage. Very nice work. Texture matches perfectly.
My husband and I hired Custom Builders LLC (Kaleb) to tear down the half hall staircase leading to the second level of our home and replaced it with a open rail and baluster staircase. Kaleb's responsiveness throughout the job was great. We where kept informed about the timing of when materials would arrive and when each segment of the job would be completed. Kaleb's work is high quality and he kept a very clean work space between each segment of the project. We got very good value for the job. We had done some research about prices before we hired Custom Builders and found Kaleb's price for the job was very reasonable. The timing on completion of each segment of the job was longer than planned. Completion time was double the time that was initially set. There were a number of issues with getting the correct materials from Kaleb's vender. If you are willing to work with a small contractor who does the work himself Kaleb Shultz (Custom Builders LLC) is your guy.
Thomas from Red Sky Builders did a great job. We were having trouble finding someone who would do the repairs because it was a small job. But Thomas was a life saver. He was quick to respond and answered all our questions thoroughly. Thomas was even willing to work on the weekend to fix our leaking exterior window. He was fast and efficient and I'll definitely call him again when we need work done. I would absolutely recommend him.
