What began as a passion has grown into a purpose. I create dishes inspired by flavors from all backgrounds, each one made completely from scratch with care, creativity, and intention. For me, food is more than just a meal—it’s an experience.
I take pride not only in the quality and presentation of every dish, but in the time and heart I invest into every event I cater or bartend. With over 25 years in the restaurant and bar industry, I’ve dedicated my life to mastering my craft.
Now, I’m bringing that passion directly to the table—inviting you to taste, experience, and enjoy what The Taste of Soul is all about.

I am so pleased with the service that I got from Taste of Soul. We discussed menu and she was able to provide me with a tasting which was amazing. She checked in to make sure all necessary items and utensils were available a few days before the event. She arrived on time with the food hot and ready to go. There was 2 servers who were just as professional. Will definitely use this catering company again! They made my dad’s 90th birthday a hit!

The Taste of Soul was a perfect choice for our non-profit race. They served AMAZING food and worked with us to develop a menu that all of the participants (children and adults) would enjoy. They were truly a joy to be around and made the event a success. I would highly recommend them for any event and we will absolutely be begging them to cater our next event.
Nastassia did a wonderful job catering and bartending at our wedding. All of our guests had a lovely time! I definitely recommend her!

Nastassia and her team are highly recommended. They came in and prepared dinner for my anniversary party and all was so tasty. The setup she provided was beautiful as well. She also left my kitchen sparkling clean.

I hired The Tate of soul for a fundraiser I held and I am so very thankful I did. Nastassia was amazing with all my guests, accommodated all the allergies we had and the food was outstanding. We did a mix of her southern and her Mexican buffet and they both were a hit. Shell be our go to in the future for all of our fundraisers

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am slightly flexible
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Sending out a questionnaire, getting to know you as working with whomever possible
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Growing up, I was always in the kitchen with my great grandma, when she passed I followed in my grandmother’s footsteps in creating food for the soul. As life went on I got into the restaurant industry but felt I was missing my time in the kitchen making my own cuisine.
A dear friend of mine lost her friend to violence and I cooked for their family to take some weight away and since then decided it was my calling to provide food for the soul
