Jacob & the team were exceptional in their work ethics, professionalism & punctuality. I hired him to finish my basement work left by the previous contractor. Had I known him earlier, I'd have hired him at the start. However, with the challenges in picking up the work, he & the team did a good job in finishing the work in the estimated timeframe. I may hire him soon for other work as well.

Behm Contracting did a full remodel of our dated 1960's basement bathroom and we are happy with the final results. It is just as we pictured it (see the before and after pictures). Everything except the door & window were demo'ed and replaced. They needed to remove a wallpaper border, re-mud & texture the walls. The shower area was stripped to studs, new insulation added, extra framing added for grab bars, new plumbing completed, new wallboard and waterproofing added. Then new tiles, with a beveled window ledge/sill , shower corner shelves for shampoo, fixtures, all of which look great. As does the new flooring & baseboard, vanity, mirror and lights. They also replaced the ceiling light, exhaust fan & heat vent cover plate. And, of course, painted the walls & ceiling, plus installed new towel bars and ring. It was all completed in 3 weeks. (Note, we had the old cast iron bathtub refinished in white separately by a specialty firm). The site was clean with all debris, tools and excess supplies removed at the end of the project. Jacob Behm provided oversight of his subs, stopping by every few days and responded to our texts & calls on a timely basis. But, it was critical for us to provide daily oversight, as well, to make sure that everything was following our quality standards and needs. Any remodel will have issues arise and our remodel had its fair share of problems. But, Jacob resolved all concerns to our satisfaction in the end. He was accommodating, calm and fair. We had a detailed fixed price contract to which he adhered & he also provided proof of insurance ahead of time. So, in conclusion, we are very happy with the final product... the bathroom looks great. Thank you Behm Contracting! And thanks also to ...Joe for your demolition, Rich for your attention to detail in tiling and flooring , Reynaldo for your plumbing expertise & wall texturing, & Jacob for your oversight and great customer service attitude.
