I originally put a quote out on Thumbtack looking for a jeweler to make an earring to match one in a pair that I lost (handmade silver feathers). Connie contacted me saying she could make it. When I met with her I showed her the earring I still had and she commented on the craftmanship, and told me she could do the project. She then went online and bought a cheap charm like something you can buy at a craft store, and charged me $40 for basically being my personal shopper. When I tried to return it because the feather did not even match the original in size, texture, or shape, she refused to give me a full refund, only refunding $20, and was extremely unpleasant and highly unprofessional about the whole exchange.
