FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely! Even after extensive training to become certified by the Home Staging Resource, I am continually participating in continuing education through HSR as well as the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA), and the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO). I am also a member of the South Metro Denver Realtor Association as an affiliate which keeps me abreast of trends and changes in the real estate industry.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When asked how long I have been staging or redesigning, my answer is usually "since I was 12". I was one of those neat freak kids who rearranged my room for fun. Then after staging my own homes on three different occasions and selling each one of them within the first weekend, I thought maybe I could do this for others.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Although we often stage vacant houses, our most common job is staging an occupied home where we maximize the use of currently owned items. Successful home staging must make financial sense and we are experienced and trained in making the most out of your current belongings in order to turn buyer traffic into top offers.
