We hired Brazka painting to paint and seal the baseboards on our main floor. Yaneli and her team were polite and worked hard. The reason for the 4 stars is because they only put painters tape around the edges (no drop cloths) and paint got on our new hardwood floors. I pointed it out and they spent and extra hour or so cleaning up spots they had missed. All in all everything turned out ok (baseboards look great!)- we just wish they would have done a little more prep to save time and headache on the backend

Let me preface the poor 2star rating. Positives: overall painting was done very well. Her employee who's name is Javiar was awesome. Very respectful, very polite and was a pleasure to work with. Did speak more English vs. Yaneli. Negatives: 1. Contract/estimate never. Her contract was done verbally and she said TOTAL price $2500, however when it came time to pay then she said that materials were NOT included in this price. Get estimate IN WRITING. 2. I don't see it on the computer but on the mobile app it shows (I printed off a copy and gave it to her) that she accepted Cash, Credit Card, Zelle. This is absolutely FALSE. It may be innocent on her behalf, doubtful, but I believe her sales strategy is to lure you in to her VERBAL estimate and when it's time to pay she claims she does not accept credit cards but you can use your credit through zeelle. Folks ZELLE is not a credit card. It's basically a way to send and receive cash. When I asked her if she accepted credit card she said yes Zelle. She was misleading me and when I asked her to check with her bank she said "let me think of other options". Rather than provide an answer she said "can you meet tomorrow morning at Home Depot" It was partially my fault as I should have thoroughly confirmed that she accepted credit card BEFORE anything started happening which includes #1 above it being in WRITING. 3. Extra supplies in receipt since I paid with my credit card. If you're a mechanic you most likely have your OWN tools. That comes with owning a business and incurring work related operating expenses. After ringing out at the register I realized I was buy brushes, paint trays, etc. Things a professional painter should already have not buying extra and letting the customer pay for it. Taping, patches for holes, paint are expected to be purchased to do a paint job. 4. Her site says discounts available. None were offered. I mentioned where I wanted to get paint and she recommended Home Depot and could get me discount but did not receive it. Home Dept tried to enter her info and nothing in the system. Again not sure where the discounts were? 5. Language barrier. Only speaks Spanish. If I'm in Russia I'm pretty sure 95% of the people will speak Russian. No disrespect but since we are in the U.S. where 90% speak English probably good to be bilingual or hire someone who speak English negotiate the contract so everyone is on the same page. We had to use google language translator to communicate. Wasn't happy. 6. Website states 5 employees. Guess 3 were on vacation because I only ever saw 2. 6. Payment. Again website says Cash, Check, Credit Card and Zelle. Remember "I" paid for the materials and then she tried to say that wasn't included in quote. NEGATIVE, I said yes it that she said TOTAL. Total means everything unless it's written where it says "excluding.....". So from the $2500 I deducted my $542 I paid on my credit card at Home Depot, then I deducted the ancillary supplies that I should NOT have had to pay for and it came to $1784. I told her I expected to charge the balance and off that didn't happen. I even told her to jump on paypal as you can setup an acct in 15mins. Of course she didn't. After the bad experience from all of the above EXCEPT the good paint job I just wanted to be done with all this mess. So BUYERS beware that she doesn't do the bait and switch with you as well. I would not recommend her if you are planning on a project that you cost a substantial amount of money unless you don't mind paying in cash. As a result of her not giving me the choice of a credit card it forces customers to be stressed out trying to come up with a sizable amount of cash. Shouldn't it be the customers choice on how they pay. My personal opinion are contractors want cash to avoid paying their share of taxes. Is that really fair? taxes come out before I receive a check. why is it that contractors who give NO estimate and had I not demanded a receipt that the perfect way for contractors to evade their fair share. My project was $2500 and most people prefer placing that on a credit card such as myself to get points. So prior to hiring her take note of all of the above and proceed accordingly. Lastly, my project was on a rental with a spiral staircase to a loft and has 24ft ceilings which she quoted $2500. After telling my friend about all of the above but MOST importantly that she does NOT take credit cards she had a project 2 times bigger than mine which prolly would have been quote between $3,000 to $5, 000 and decided not to go through this contractor because she wanted to use a credit card. Not sure if the above contractor knows how much money she's actually losing as a result of all the above mistakes.
