- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We tailor our pricing to your specific event! For personal chef experiences, it typically starts around $85 per guest, plus a $350 fee for each chef bringing the culinary magic. Our buffet options range from about $19 to $38+ per person. Keep in mind that drop-off service has a small delivery fee, and for staffed events, there are service fees and the cost for our awesome team members (between $250 and $350 each). If you're thinking food truck, our main dishes usually go for $15-$18 per person (and we can add on all the extras!). For food truck events where everyone pays their own way, we just need a $100 deposit to hold your date and a $500 minimum spend. The best way to get a clear picture for your event is to request a custom quote – we're happy to chat about what works best for you!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We love getting to know you and your event! We'll start by chatting about your vision, including menu ideas, any dietary needs, and your budget. This helps us create some delicious options that fit just right. Next, we'll send over a clear estimate, outlining everything so you know exactly what to expect. We're always happy to tweak things based on your feedback until it's perfect! Once you're happy, we'll send an invoice. A 25% deposit secures your date, and the remaining balance is due closer to the event (we'll confirm the timeline based on your event size). Want to chat with our chef about the menu? - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our chef/owner, David Silver, brings over 25 years of experience in some of the city's top restaurants. He's had the incredible opportunity to learn from James Beard award winners and Michelin-starred chefs, mastering a wide range of cuisines from classic American BBQ to Italian, Asian, Mexican, and beyond. Before launching our catering company, David served as executive chef for numerous restaurants and successfully managed large-scale catering events. You can be confident you're in experienced hands!
