L&L did a great job of tearing out the old vinyl tiles and then refinishing the cement floors with concrete paint. They also did a good job of painting our entire basement apartment. They were able to quickly work us into their schedule and the work was done exactly in the time frame they gave us. They also installed windows, poured new concrete and repaired a bathroom shower stall. It was great to have one company that could address all of our many needs.
Ernesto came by and did an amazing job leveling our yard which was extremely un-level. He also layed Sod giving our family the back yard we have waited 2 years for. He does very quick work and is extremely affordable! Give this guy your business! he does everything (retaining walls, leveling, concrete and general landscaping) so we will be using him much more!!
Joe and his team did a great job pouring our stamped and colored concrete patio. This was roughly 1200 sq ft on a dirt backyard and required them to pump concrete from the street about 50-60 yards and it turned out great. We actually need to call Joe again to quote out a small patio and walkway.
Better concrete and design work d around our schedule and produced great results for a great price.
Omni Sprinkler Service and Landscaping completed an extensive landscaping project which included sprinkler installation, concrete sidewalk and patio construction, sod installation, and hardscape work. In putting together the estimate, David Cohen listened carefully to my needs and developed a plan to meet my budget and requirements. He provided a drawing of the finished landscape and a detailed quote with the scope work to be done and materials proposed. When the work began, the Omni crew showed up on time, worked full days, and did a great job cleaning up at the end of the project. They answered all my questions during the project and explained what they were doing and why. Since the work was completed at the end of the season, they extended the sod warranty and included the spring sprinkler system start up with the job. The yard looks great and will serve us well for years to come.
We had LandCore Resources and Kathryn Bauer do a large concrete project consisting of removing a wooden deck and pouring a much larger slab that we had colored and stamped. In the front yard we had our driveway, front walk and front stoop replaced and enlarged. Kathryn was always available to answer questions and address our concerns. If I called and had to leave a voice mail message, she was prompt with a return call, usually within minutes. Her crews were considerate and were responsive to all of our requests. I would DEFINITELY use LandCore Resources in the future and will gladly recommend them to my family and friends.
I had shopped quotes previously via friend recommendations and most contractors insisted on seeing the scope before giving an estimate, and I was continually getting quoted higher ( often extremely higher) than my friends because I can only guess , I live in an area with higher than average housing prices and it is thus assumed that I can somehow afford to pay much more? 4U2 were the first if many to just give me an honest estimate range for labor and materials without knowing my zip code. Once we hired them, Eric kept me up to date every step of the way. He suggested we keep the front lighter to meld with the brick etc. Raul impressed me with his "eye" for design and function. I wanted a, he suggested b. and x and y. Eric translated. We trusted. It turned out beautifully! They had it done in under three days. I have had several other contractors to do additional work out here since they installed this and they have all asked for their names as they were so impressed by the work. Negatives? We had electrical and gas lines marked by city before they arrived. They inadvertently and inevitably pierced both our sprinkler and cable lines when digging and placing stakes. We hadn't contracted with them not to do so, so we just fixed them. I imagine we maybe could have called them back to fix it, but I pretty much wrote that off as " we paid them to install the concrete, not to psychically figure out where Comcast and whomever, whenever put the sprinklers"?
I was thoroughly impressed with the work that Bobby and his crew did for me. I had concrete poured for a second driveway, a side walkway around my house, an extended patio and two steps in the garage put in. Bobby provided and excellent and detailed bid, which was very reasonably priced. I obtained several bids and had a set of requirements for our concrete specs and the level professionalism & skill of our hired contractor, Bobby's company met all of these expectations from the get-go. I asked a lot of questions, and Bobby was great about hearing me out, listening and providing his recommendations. From all the contractors I saw, A3 Custom Concrete was the best and Bobby knew what he was doing. For the actual work, Bobby promised a high quality standard for his work and that of his staff. We had some bad weather earlier in the week and Bobby made sure to do the work on a day that was conducive to the job. He made sure to go over the work with me prior to getting started to confirm my expectations and the extent of the work. From there, his crew went right to work at prepping the worksite, making sure everything was level, well-formed, compacted and had appropriate the amount of base and rebar reinforcement. He followed up the second day with pouring concrete and I have to tell you the concrete was exceptionally poured and the edging was properly finished to an even standard. A previous contractor who did concrete work at our place last year did a horrible job at pouring and had an uneven thickness of concrete and you could see exposed edges. But, with Bobby's work you could easily see how well the work was done and how concrete SHOULD be poured. I had concerns about drainage around my house, so to resolve this, Bobby rerouted gutters under my walkway and made sure water would drain away from the house. Bobby was on-site throughout the job to oversee the project and his crew did a great job of cleaning up and finishing on time. I was SO happy with the completed work, I even gave his contact info to friends and family. My neighbors complemented the work repeatedly! I would use his company again and even encourage others to do so. His price is really unbeatable, all while maintaining a high level of quality and workmanship.
Jorge did a fabulous job on our concrete work, would hire him again.
We hired Mike and his son Jeff to remodel a basement bathroom that had been flooded. We hire them because Mike really knew his stuff. He was realistic on pricing and time-frame. He was prompt, professional and hard working. These guys showed up in a snow storm!!! They had to move some plumbing for a shower, reframe the shower, take down some walls, move electrical, fix a wall, tile, pour concrete and do some other contractor hocus-pocus that I don't know too much about. He communicated very well, I always knew what was going on . AND they built my kids a stage from "santa". I just can't say enough good things! Thanks Mike and Jeff!
I hired Sean Comer at 1016 Masonry to repair brickwork in the front of my home and also to repair cracked concrete in a couple of areas. He and his assistant did an excellent job and were very thorough. They also cleaned up the entire area to my satisfaction when they were finished. I would definitely recommend Sean to anyone who is in need of masonry/concrete repairs.
Bill came over to give us a quote because we had what we thought was a severe crack in our basement floor, which we wanted to fix before we laid new hardwood flooring. The crack was under carpeting as well as vinyl tiles from the 70s that had tested positive for asbestos, and he was very careful to disturb them as little as possible and cleaned up after himself completely. It was clear to Bill in a few minutes that we wouldn't need his services (concrete lifting) because the crack was actually a joint that had become raised, but he stayed for an entire hour and a half in order to help me figure out the best solution to getting our basement floor flat and level. Although we didn't hire Bill officially, I'm writing this review because the whole interaction was one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. Even when he knew we wouldn't be hiring him, he stayed to examine every part of the problem and even made a few phone calls to consult his colleagues on how to make our floor flat again without disturbing the asbestos tiles. In the end he gave me very clear directions for how to fix the floor ourselves (we are big DIYers), including links to the products we should use and articles about asbestos tiles. He even offered to send us YouTube videos of how to use the concrete leveler we'd be buying. In addition, he took a look at the rest of our foundation and even found an actual, large crack and told me how to seal that ourselves too (it wasn't structurally problematic). When he saw that we had some plumbing exposed from a prior renovation, he even pointed out a problematic area that needed to be replaced (he used to work in plumbing). The entire time he was there, he explained everything he was doing and why and answered my many questions clearly and confidently. When we offered to pay him for his time and all his help, he politely declined. I can only imagine that Bill would be a pleasure to work with and am keeping his info for the future. I work as an interior designer and have met so many unprofessional and uncommunicative contractors, subcontractors, etc. that Bill really was a breath of fresh air. Thank you Bill for all your help!
Extremely happy with MJB. Hired for a residential backyard landscaping job on a Thursday and Mark had a crew on site by Monday. Job included new fence, retaining walls, concrete patio and RV pad, large flagstone patio and more. Job is about 90 percent done and I'm very pleased. Mark was great to work with, so was Alberto. The crew was prompt, courteous and respectful.
Stucco and Stone Masons did an outstanding job removing and pouring new concrete for me. There was a small issue on the job and they resolved it right away. Highly recommended.
CIP laid a small concrete patio. The project was completed on time, on budget, high quality. Very professional and friendly, highly recommended.
600 square foot concrete driveway. Timely, On budget. Professional.
Maurice and his crew just completed a 1,000 s.f. tile installation in the first floor of our townhouse. We could not be more pleased. We went with Maurice because of the depth of his experience in residential, commercial and institutional work. He moves from, but never at the expense of quality. He did this 9-day job, knowing when an additional installer or two would help and when he best left working alone. Also unlike other flooring specialists we've used, he is skilled at handling little problems you run into on a job like this He was also extremely efficient in use of tile. I seriously doubt whether there is anybody better in Northern Colorado for installing floors.
I contacted Shane to fix the surface of a DIY concrete countertop. While other contractors weren't interested Shane came by to see the situation, and had a solution right away. He even came by a 2nd time with color samples. The final product was beter than he said...and better than I had ever hoped for. It is great working with a contractor that delivers MORE than he promised. Shane will be my contractor of choice for the next project.
I hired Paraiso construction to drywall, paint and build shelving in my garage.
We are blown away by the epoxy flooring we had applied by Neighbors. On time every day. They finished in 2 days and were very professional.
