Bill came over to give us a quote because we had what we thought was a severe crack in our basement floor, which we wanted to fix before we laid new hardwood flooring. The crack was under carpeting as well as vinyl tiles from the 70s that had tested positive for asbestos, and he was very careful to disturb them as little as possible and cleaned up after himself completely. It was clear to Bill in a few minutes that we wouldn't need his services (concrete lifting) because the crack was actually a joint that had become raised, but he stayed for an entire hour and a half in order to help me figure out the best solution to getting our basement floor flat and level. Although we didn't hire Bill officially, I'm writing this review because the whole interaction was one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. Even when he knew we wouldn't be hiring him, he stayed to examine every part of the problem and even made a few phone calls to consult his colleagues on how to make our floor flat again without disturbing the asbestos tiles. In the end he gave me very clear directions for how to fix the floor ourselves (we are big DIYers), including links to the products we should use and articles about asbestos tiles. He even offered to send us YouTube videos of how to use the concrete leveler we'd be buying. In addition, he took a look at the rest of our foundation and even found an actual, large crack and told me how to seal that ourselves too (it wasn't structurally problematic). When he saw that we had some plumbing exposed from a prior renovation, he even pointed out a problematic area that needed to be replaced (he used to work in plumbing). The entire time he was there, he explained everything he was doing and why and answered my many questions clearly and confidently. When we offered to pay him for his time and all his help, he politely declined. I can only imagine that Bill would be a pleasure to work with and am keeping his info for the future. I work as an interior designer and have met so many unprofessional and uncommunicative contractors, subcontractors, etc. that Bill really was a breath of fresh air. Thank you Bill for all your help!

Ahcene looked at a house that we were under contract for and confirmed that the structural issues that were identified through the inspection were not issues of concern.

I am a Structural Engineer who has worked in Colorado since 1977. I have had the pleasure to work with Jeff Abrams on dozens of projects over the last 30+ years. Our projects together have been mostly large custom residences, however, we have worked on a few smaller residential additions. Jeff has an exceptional educational background (Yale, I believe) and a well traveled international architecture expertise. His travels to Italy appear to have especially influenced his design approach. He has a keen sense of the importance of small details. I feel that one of Jeff's strongest attributes is his humble ability to listen to the wants and needs of his clients and not let ego interfere at all. This is rare for an architect of his expertise. I also appreciate the fact that he visits the site often during construction. I must say that many of Jeff's designs challenge me as an engineer, but I do enjoy that piece of the process.

I hired BMS for a project in Twin Falls, Idaho. We had some significant challenges on the job that were non related to the scope of work that their team was responsible for. Yet still, they stepped in and helped overcome those challanges and more. They have always been punctual at returning calls even after hours when necessary and knowledgeable in not only the scope I hired them for but on other areas of our project that we needed their expertise with too. In addition we have corresponded on several projects since. If you want quality and professionalism at its best I recommend you look no further than BMS Engineering & Architects. I know they are my go to from now on. Thanks Matt Scheel for everything. Tracy Armstrong, President CEO, Stags Builders.

We choose Mike for our architect after interviewing 3 firms, and so happy we did. He has been very helpful and given us great insight into our home planning. We had chosen a simple plan on-line and he helped us make the changes neccesary to make it our own. He had very good ideas, keeping in mind our budget. Any time we have questions, he is very quick in his response back to us. He had the first rough draft done in just a few days! Pus, I love the fact that he has a preferred structural engineer that he alread works with. We are so excited to see the finished product! I will definately recommend Mike to my friends and family for any of thier architectural needs! Tracy & Scott F Brighon, Colorado

Broad Spectrum Edition created my website and designed a logo for my counseling private practice. Collin knew just what to do to make my website accessible and unique. I am so pleased with my logo and I have been easily able to place it onto business cards, apparel, and more. Collin worked quickly and responded effectively and respectfully to any requests or changes I had. I am so excited to continue to work with him as I need more web design and business development.
