- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Same day turnaround rate is $6 per recorded minute, next day is $5, 2-3 day is $4, one week is $3, two week is $2 and anything longer is $1.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually meet a client at a coffee shop or some mutually convenient location to get their recorded tape, disc, etc. My policy is to charge a retainer of 1/2 the estimated total cost of the project, with the balance due upon completion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied political science at D.U and have been a transcriber/paralegal/legal administrator for 20 years. I also started and managed two transcription companies.
